Cracking under 6 months
Purchased in August 2025. By Christmas, the handles got cracked while boiling process during making tea for my guests. Had to stop before something happens. No more kettle since then.

Very nice kettle
The kettle is everything I wanted exept being too large in size, toweing over its predecessor of the same capacity of 1.5L. It seems that the margin between the Max water mark and the top of the kettle is way too large. I assume that it was intended for safety, so hot water would not splatter over perhaps, but it makes the kettle way too tall. I think that the automatic shut off can happen sooner in the boiling process and reduce the active boiling time, particularly considering that many teas don't require fully boiling water temperatures.

I filled kettle with cold water up to 1.5 litre and it boiled in under 6 minutes. Quiet boil, stylish design and Beautiful addition to our kitchen!

Good looking quality kettle
The boiling part is solid steel, quality finish, minimalistic clean look. Boils fast to a correct temperature. Standard 1.5 l capacity. Excellent kettle.

Strong metal taste and smell
Taste and smells like metal, like the other reviewer has mentioned. I used the same model kettle for the past 7 years and it was fine until this new one. Disappointed.

Disappointed
Very Disappointed – Rust After Just a Few Months I had high expectations from Zwilling because of their reputation for quality, but this electric kettle has been a major letdown. After only a few months of regular use, I noticed rust forming inside the lid (see photo). For a premium-priced product, this is completely unacceptable—especially for something that’s supposed to handle drinking water! Not only is the rust concerning for health and hygiene, but it also shows that the materials used aren’t as durable as advertised. The outside looks sleek, but clearly the inside doesn’t match in quality.

I like the elegant design and the 1.5 L capacity. The interior is all stainless steel which I enjoy using. I also like that the outside doesn’t get hot to the touch when boiling water.

Dead after <2 years
After ~2 years of use, our Effinigy kettle is no longer heating water. This appliance is beautiful, efficient, and quick to heat, but not sturdy enough for daily use. Have attempted to contact the maker and utilize the warranty, but am having a terrible time getting help.

Stainless steel without minimum plastic
This is what I can find best in market with stainless steel inner pot. I don't want to drink micro plastic. The plastic overtime can degraded to micro pieces, this is so far the best one I found with 99% stainless steel inside. Simple elegant design, one button, not too light and not too heavy with good quality material. I will trust ZWILLING brand if it continues build such good quality stainless steel product!

Works like it says it does
I bought this a few weeks ago and it works great so far. Fairly quiet, keeps water warm for a while after boiling. The one design aspect that could be improved is a glass panel to see the water level inside.
