It doesn't give it body waves.

First impression, my hair was so soft and shiny after using this, but still curled beautifully. Minimal frizz action. Smell is light. Little goes a long way

I've tried to find the perfect product combo for my wavy hair. I love this curl cream as part of my regimen.

I have several favorite curl creams (AG Recoil, Design Me Balm and Ouai). Ouai is my favorite! I love everything by Ouai I've tried. The fine/med shampoo/conditioner, especially Ouai detox shampoo, just ordered the hair mask and really enjoy the Melrose Place perfume and body cream. I normally don't love heavily scented products but love these and if you don't like perfume products, it really doesn't last. Wish it did! I started on wavy hair journey in the fall watching many videos on line to learn and I've had a few curly cuts and she taught me a lot. If anyone says this makes their hair greasy, you're using too much. I had to stop using leave in and only use a bit of curl cream and a lot of gel (AG Liquid Effects) . When I used to use both leave in and curl cream, or accidentally too much cream now, my hair looks stringy. It's the gel you want a lot of and then scrunch out the gel crunch/cast with a tiny bit of oil, only drop or two. Start with literally a pea size on each side of hair and emulsify in hands.

Love this cream for my hair it makes it curl so well even after bleaching my hair.It smells so good too.

I LOVE this curl cream. it is one of my top 3 faves for definition. my definition literally lasts a week and could go more. I don't know what sorcery perfects the curl clumps in this stuff, but it's magical! it is a thicker cream so less is more. I have fine hair and it does not weigh my curls down at all, but you can easily apply too much and feel weighed down. for those saying it is too thick, emulsify it in your hands with a spritz of water so it is thinner and spreads more easily. and for those who say there is no hold, this is true as it is a cream and needs to be paired with a mousse/foam or gel. but again, the definition it gives curls prior adding a hold product is unmatched!

Im returning this product. Made my hair feel greasy. Had to re-wash my hair the next day after use. Zero stars

Not suitable for wavy hair. Hair frizzes within second day and waves are gone. There's better products out there

My hair is mostly 3B, but I’ve got a mix of textures all over—some sections are looser, some tighter, and styling it can definitely be a process. That’s why I’ve been really happy with the OUAI Curl Crème. It actually works well across all the different textures in my hair, which is rare for a single product. What I really like is that a little goes a long way. I don’t need a ton to get really nice definition and volume, and it never leaves my hair feeling heavy or greasy. My curls come out soft, shiny, and bouncy. It also plays super well with my Innersense I Create Hold gel. The Curl Crème gives me that moisturized, smooth base, and the gel helps lock everything in so I get hold without the crunch. It’s been a great combo for keeping frizz down and definition lasting throughout the day. The scent is a bit floral and noticeable, but not overwhelming—and they do have a fragrance-free version, which is a nice option if you're sensitive to smells or layering other products. Overall, it’s become a regular in my routine. It works with my mixed texture curls, keeps everything defined and soft, and doesn’t require a ton of product. Highly recommend if your curls need moisture, shine, and shape without being weighed down.

I've tried numerous products and this curl creme works great!!

My hair is thick, curly/wavy, and goes down to my waist. I had been struggling with it becoming really frizzy, dry, and tangling by day two. So I decided to change all the products in my curl routine. I use biolage hydra source(shamp/con/leave in tonic), then this curl creme. Let me tell you!!! Before I had to use gel and mousse to keep my curls but now??? Just this curl creme and diffuse!! My hair is so soft, doesn't tangle, and my texture stays put. It smells so good too. I also use the hair oil and the st barts hair & body mist. Im lovin this combo.

I’ve used curl smith products in the past and they were okay. I thought this product was pricey but it’s really good. It softens hair, with defined waves/curls. A little goes a long way.

Works well, but I have to use a lot to thoroughly saturate all my hair. Product is very thick. My hair is very thick and curly so this doesn't spread as well as other products.

I wanted to like this product, but the smell ruined it for me. It smells like straight up perfume and way too intense. I will not buy this again.

Me and my sister used this. She has Oily Thick long hair, and had to use about a Quarter Dollar amount for her waves. It was beautiful and laster about 2 days with less frizz. I have Oily thin long hair. I used a Quarter amount and it made my hair Sticky and Oily. I had to wash my hair the next day because it looked and felt like I hadn't washed my hair in a week. I tried it a second time with less, About a Dime size and it wasn't enough to cover all my hair, the parts that it did cover same thing happened, it was Oily and Sticky.

This is what I use and it makes my hair so soft and gives it control and soft looking curls. The other products I was using from other brands are long gone. They were making my hair look and feel fried. It was awful.

Offers hold and frizz control without weighing my curls down. Also doesn’t seem to get yucky buildup throughout the week. Just re-wet and I can define my curls again. I’m pretty sure this will last me more than 6 months.

Honest review what I don't like is when I first put it on my wet hair. It seems like its hard to work through and tangles my hair if that makes sense. What I love is when my hair dries it feels like nothing is in it. It holds my natural curly hair so beautifully. It gives it body and locks those long curls in. This is my second bottle I have bought and I still think the next day is my favorite hair day when I use this creme. I will continue to buy this. results = everything it says it is.

My daughter got me the curl creme for Mother's Day last year and I LOVED it! I LOVE everything about it. I had a woman come up to me and ask how I keep my curls from getting frizzy, I told her about your product. I promised to bring some in for her to try. I will continue to let curly headed women know about your awesome product!
