  • A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. The tiles can easily be removed by heating the edges of the tiles with a hair dryer. Then you can gently pull the tile while continuing to apply heat. Be sure not to force the tile as then you could damage the surface underneath. You can then wipe away any residue with household cleaner.

    Such an improvement!

    These tiles were such a great solution to easily upgrade our oven backsplash. The installation didn’t go perfectly, but that was due to inexperience on our end. It looks sooo much better than our old stainless steel sheet backsplash. It would be lovely if the tiles were marked with a grid and measurements on the back, as that’s where I had the most issues. I would also love it if smart tile could make you one large piece based on measurements if you’re doing a small project like mine.

    Easy install & Realistic looking

    Thrilled with our purchase! Super easy to install and looks exactly like real tile! Very easy to cut to fit around outlet covers, and they matched up perfectly to continue the pattern! Will definitely be using Smart Tile again!

    Accent Wall Transformation

    Updated an uneven / damaged wall surface with 24 of these tiles, and it looks a lot better. I do wish there was a discount for more tiles (I only got two per package and it got quite pricey...), but am still happy. With all the cuts, I managed to finish this project in 3 hours, by myself. Attaching the before/after for reference :)

    Excellent design and look, with only one flaw

    Tiles look really nice and real, I am very happy with them. I went with one of the option your team recommended and it really fits perfectly. It elevated my kitchen space completely. After 2 days I can confirm that cleaning is very easy. Looking forward to see how they will age with time. However, I have to give only 4 stars, cause exact overlaying of this large format files was not very easy. We spend a lots of time for each tile, two persons, infrared and manual leveling tools., etc...As a technical person, my lines have to be straight. And still at the end, it was just not possible to make everything perfect. Up close you can see some uneven spots and you can see it is glued, which was kind of small disappointment. It was very hard to identify the overlay line and not go over the line or "under" the line. I think maybe overlaying lines needs to be more visible, as a guidance for overlaying, (for example light transparent yellow or something). Also, the upper overlaying line could be thinner, maybe that way it will be less visible after. Specially with chevron, you can clearly see upper overlaying tiles. The side lines are really invisible (if you make it right;-)), that is beautiful. All in all I am very satisfied with choice and purchase. For next time however, due to difficulty of overlaying, I would choose one of the smaller formats. Although, this design is really nice- sooo....maybe you can make the same design in smaller format?!:-)

    Big Bloks = Big Coverage

    Looks good once there is more than one Blok on. I wish that I had a video demo for these large bloks (vs the interlocking ones.) On my initial wall I did not overlap and so it looks like stickers vs. the imitation grout line I was trying to visually create. Also, it was very difficult to remove without destroying my drywall. So once the first Blok was laid down it was 100% commitment! Really love the size as it gives very good coverage. Over all it looks decent and I'm hoping it helps with easy cleaning in the future. Two possible improvements: 1) placing a grid on the peel off paper on the back? 2) Selling smaller blocs so I can get the faux grout line for small fill in pieces on the ends or fillers. Overall, it works!

    Awesome Option for my Laundry Sink

    I installed these in my laundry room with a small renovation. We took out our cabinet with a sink and placed a free standing sink and wanted something to protect the wall in the corner. The tiles were easy to install and the adhesive is super strong! These not only look great but they keep the wall from getting wet and damaged.

    Could be a little thicker but look real enough to make people assume it's stone. Great value for money if you don't want to tile a tiny area. Still not as nice as the real deal, but grouting a backsplash is no easy task. Worth the $
