One cartridge was missing the tab to start tape. There is no way to start the tape.

Defective cartridges.
Cartridges were defective. The photo on the Target site shows part of the tape is already fed out from the cartridge. Mine arrived with the tape completely inside the cartridge, so neither of the two received are working in the Letratag label maker.
