There are so many instructions, incredibly difficult. My son is crushed. He loves ET and we can't figure out the complicated instructions to play it. There is a supplemental video which starts out helpful then they completely lose you. We love board games however this one is a disappointment for family game night

The game is too difficult to play. Too many pieces, instructions are difficult, and just overall not fun. Game pieces are nice however.
This game should not go home.

I got this game for my kids as I grew up watching E.T., I had an E.T. doll, and watched the movie with my kids. For the record, they play Zelda, Pokemon Cards (the way it's supposed to be played), Chess, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons and Dragons. There are too many pieces, the rules seem convoluted, and we didn't make it through setting the whole game up! At this point, it is taking up space on our game shelf and I can't get my children to attempt to play it.
Great Game for a theme party!

I wnated to throw an 80s party, but eneded up with just a super nostalgic night with my husband and kids. Where we played older games as well as this one and watched the Movie ET too. It was fun to revisit my youth and and play the game while showing my kids a little glimpse into the past.
I gave a 50/0

My kids really enjoy this game, it has become one of their favorite ones for game night… it keeps my 13 and ten year old amused for a long time. The instructions are very comprehensive and the video link provided really helped explain the game quickly.

I thought this game would be easy and fun to play, but I needed to study the directions and concept before we actually played the games. It wasn’t easy to play as soon as I got the board set up. I confused my parents and tween daughter. After reading over the directions and doing a pretend round myself, I understood better. I think this is a great game for families, but please take the time to read the directions over a few times before you actually play.

A fun game. I’m a child of the 80s and ET was one of the first movies I saw in the movie theatre, so this game brought back good memories. My son enjoyed playing it, and even asked to play it with a friend during a sleepover. Fun and pretty easy to learn to play. Good for a rainy weekend or family game night.

This is Such a cute game! This is our gamut favorite one now for game night. It did take us a few minutes to get the concept, but it was overall easy. I would recommend for maybe 10+. Also easy set up too.
Nostalgia for all you children of the 80's!

Fun game that tugs at our nostalgic strings while creating new nostalgia for our kids! I gotta say, I LOVE the box which is what drew me to this in the first place. The pieces take a bit to set up and the instructions take a while to slog through (but I've found that seems to be the case with most board games) but once we figured it out, it was fun!

This took up quite a bit of time to set up. We thought we’d be able to play with the whole family, (our kids are: 7, 10, 12 & 16) but it was a little hard for the littles. It’s definitely fun for date night but I think we’ll pass on it for family game nights unless it’s just our two older kids.

I was happy to see this item, what a piece of nostalgia that brought me back to my childhood. It was fun to play but I don't think it will be our go to board game to play. Give it a try it was worth it.

Nah. For a 40 something like me, there is a fair amount of nostalgia with the movie, but it did not transform to the game. Watch the movie? Sure. Play this game? I'd rather play a game that provides the nostalgia. Game itself was made with adequate quality (kind of a pain to punch out all of the pieces before playing for the first time.

This E.T. game takes some time to read through the directions and get set up. Once you figure out how to start the game, it's a lot of fun. My kids (11, 13, 14, 16) all enjoyed playing as a family. However, my 11 year old hasn't seen the movie in awhile so she wasn't as into it as the others. It had a good flow and fun to strategize and play together rather than against each other.

This game has so many tiny parts & prices. All the tiny characters & prices are so cute & well made. It came with big list of instructions & it took some time to initially understand the game. Once you play couple of times & understand it better & it becomes easy & fun to play. Younger kids didn’t have patience to sit & understand. Definitely for older kids who are 10+.

A fun game to play as a family and friends, teaching the kids strategy and how to work together. It takes a little time to set up and go over the rules when we first set it up. There’s a QR code in the instructions that leads you to an explanation video, which it was a lot easier to understand than reading the instructions. Kids had a good time playing it and gave the thumps up!

This game is really cute. Made us reminisce over the movie. All the game pieces were really cool. This is a game that the whole family can play. My kids both love it. It’s a game that can be completed in a good time frame.

This game is a typical board game. It is really cute and the pieces are quite nice. My children prefer to play with the game pieces vs actually playing the game itself. If you are an ET fan you would for sure dig this game. That is if your kids dont swipe all of the pieces first. Although it is pretty cool to see et playing with peppa pig. The pieces are neat for sure. The game is from funko pop so they are pretty detailed.
