We have had this for about a month and it's been awesome. Nice change from the dark wood tv stand we had before. The wood is all engineered but it's very high quality and I'm not worried about it falling apart. It looks great in person, both the dark top and the light gray base. You'll need to put this together yourself but I found it pretty easy considering the size of it. Use a cordless drill to speed it up, just don't overtighten any of the screws. Everything lined up perfectly when connecting. The fireplace portion just slides into place from the back, extremely easy to assemble. The fireplace looks awesome - provides great ambience and is customizable in several ways. It comes with both the logs or the glass stones, and you can change the color of the flames and the logs independently. The heating element also works separately from visual flames, so you don't have to run the heat to get the ambience of the flames. I didn't like how the support piece looked in the upper shelf with the cords visible, so I only connected one of the two screws and then turned it sideways. Now it hides the hole for the cords and my sound bar still fits in front of it. Definitely recommend!
