Description

Genuine Blueair replacement filter compatible with the Blue Pure 211+ Auto only. This filter is not compatible with the standard 211+ or MAX models. If used with the 211+ or MAX, the clean air delivery rate (CADR) will decline.​ The Combination Particle + Carbon filter protects against both gaseous and particulate contaminates. Advanced polypropylene filter media removes particle pollutants from your indoor air, such as pollen, dust, and pet dander. At the same time, a layer of activated carbon mesh traps light household odors from pets, cooking, smoke, and more. The 360-degree design allows the filter surface area to be over 20 square feet in size.

  • A: Hi Jannie, filters for the Blue 211+ and 211+ Auto's are slightly different. Please be mindful when ordering and replacing filters to get the correct filters for the corresponding models.

    filter replacement

    It arrived within a few days, and my son was able to install it without any problems.I'm not sure if the unit is coming on automatically as it did in the past. Severa times I have had some strong cooking dors that in the past would have triggered it to switch on, and it didn't seem to do so. Having read the direction numerous times, I am hoping I have it set correctly and it will react when the air needs to be cleared. Love the Blue Air Cleaner

    Blue Air Auto Particle Filter

    I replaced the Blue Air Auto Particle filter and noticed when I removed the old one lots of debris and particulate matter in that old filter - which makes me think that the filter is doing its job of removing the bad things in my air. I feel using this filter that the air circulation in my living room is much better - kudos to Blue Air.

    I’m generally happy BUT

    When I first started using the filter, it gave off an unpleasant chemical-type (I guess) smell. Better now but it startled me. Hasn’t done that before ever.

    Not working well.

    Despite replacement of filter and washing pre-filter allergy symptoms persist, and air does not seem as fresh as it had with my old Honeywell HEPA air purifier.

    So easy to maintain

    I can wipe down both inside and outside of the filter chamber when changing the filter. The motor cover can be wiped clean as well. The dirty filter is easy to collapse and manage without disrupting all the accumulated dust and grime. New filter comes every 6 months on subscription. Love the product.

    Dies after a while for no reason

    It works until it doesn't. Cycles blue orange red blue led, then fan wiggles and it doesn't turn on, Keeps repeating this over and over. Seems to me a very common problem if you search, with no solution other than replacing it with a whole new unit
