Newair® Evaporative Air Cooler and Portable Cooling Fan 470 CFM - White

I've had this for two wks. I had my doubts at first but in those two wks it's run nearly continuously and efficient.

This is the worst so called cooling. It doesn't get cold. It's just a fan even when I have it on cool it's still just a fan and it beeps then the cool button goes off.all together it cost me over 200.00 dollars that I had to save to even buy it.they take your money! They don't work.Dont buy this New Air! They just take your money then they comment on the reviews to make them look good! And I'm a senior who could not and who can not afford to get taken like they do.

I recently bought one newair, and let me tell u that i'm dissapointed i only had it for 1 month and everytime i click on cooler humidifier it starts making a beeping noise and it works as a fan only

I bought this 2 yrs ago and I live in the desert where it gets real hot! I need a bit more cooling at night only in the bedroom and this item works great - if you need a smallish area cooled a bit more then the rest of your house you can't go wrong with this Newair !!

Before you decide to purchase this fan, I challenge you to see how impossible it is to find a replacement filter. I have looked for hours to no avail. I will spend my money elsewhere in the future.

This fan works pretty good on a humid day. The air is nice and cool. It could be a bit quieter but all in all I'm happy with my purchase and in would recommend this fan to anyone looking for something portable and not to too bulky to have in their home. On a very hot and humid day, I recommend having this fan set to high/cooler and use the freezer ice pack included. Also, place the new air near your body.

poor air circulation and the cold water doesn't seem to help any at all. if you want a cool air breeze save your money and buy a AC unit.

This is the second model we’ve purchased over the years. Love the new updated design. We live in SoCal and we prefer this NewAir evaporative cooler in our bedroom vs. a loud and large portable or window A/C that sucks up a ton of energy and creates more heat. The fan is super powerful on its own if you choose to not use the humidifier/cooler function or if it’s a particularly humid night. Hot tip: get yourself a second set of ice packs, so you always have cold ones to use the next night. We usually forget to put the used ones back in the freezer the next morning, so the second set is clutch.

I purchased this product to help with the Arizona summers and the high cost of air conditioning. I use it all day in my home office and all night in the bedroom. When it developed an electrical problem the help desk was responsive and helped me find the solution to my problem. The cool air flow and moisture add so much comfort to our home and the ease of use in filling and moving the unit are great!

I live in a hot, dry climate. This appliance has made all the difference in my comfort level in a 2nd floor apt. with only one wall AC unit in the living room. Love the wheels and it's lightweight.

I've only used it once, but seems to work well for the small space we have. Was missing a piece when opened, customer service is easy to work with an solved the problem promptly.
