Absolute garbage & a waste of money. Had my 2nd gens since 2020. Absolutely LOVED them. One stopped working * was cheaper ...literally to just buy a new pair. Welp. The newest absolutely IS NOT always the baddest. These hunk o junks from the get go are terribly designed. Just clearly shows ol Apple dont listen to feedback. Like none of it. Only slight down fall with 2nd gens were if you happen to have long thick hair, up or down, itll give you some hassle and yank stems of pods out a bit easier. Sounfd quality w/o noise...violations. < yes. I said it. The noise cancellation i ABSOLUTELY HATE. And the stupid continuous switching back n forth from their idiotic built on sound "features" you cant "TAP" quick enough to make em stop. So i literally am forced to stop and pull em outta my ears. That is, IF im possibly havin a good enough day/time toget those stupid ungrabbable annoying things outta the case on the 1st try. Which is NEVER. So many created issues that Apple has screwed with that didnt need a fixing. They also aint ever heard that good ol Southern term : "IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT TRY AN FIX IT ANYWAY". Hence why ill never own anything else Apple. Overrated, Expensive amd complete joke. Ps. Idc how many adjustments you think you can do, have to...i had to spend a bit of time to get into developer modes to even come close to HEARING those plastic drawer knobs. Come to find my husband who originally purchased em had already stated the same. He waded my opinion out just to see if i thought the same. At this point Apples another multi whatever company, if they release a #$%* product and well mass reviews deem it not to come close to good, credit at the least should be established for an upgraded version. So please. Dont even waste time nor money. Just pick a whole different brand. These pods are an embarrassment to apple. No effort at all was kicked into any kind of upgrade from other pods. These by far are the worst

downgrade from the second gens
As a music connoisseur and someone who literally used my gen 2’s for probably a good 6 years till they stopped working imma give my thoughts (i got the ones without noise canceling btw). in terms of actual music quality it was definitely an adjustment since it’s more base heavy. originally i didn’t like it but since ive been using these new ones so much i literally don’t notice a difference anymore, so id say not a negative in my opinion. in terms of shape/size these definitely suck way worse. the gen 2’s were a really really perfect size for me cause my ears are super small. the gen 4’s are shorter and fatter (lol) which means i definitely deal with some more ear pain/discomfort while wearing them. whereas the gen 2’s were much thinner and i couldn’t even feel them. they don’t fall out for me i know some people mentioned that (maybe it’s cause i cram them super deep in my ears tbh), but definitely not comfortable. my main issue is the battery life on these if ur gonna take anything from this review as to why you shouldn’t buy these it’s simply because these things die so incredibly fast to the point where i feel insulted that i spent money on them. i have to fully recharge these things once every two days, even though im not using them super crazy. my gen 2’s could last me through an apocalyptic disaster and by the time we’d resume society they’d still have some battery life left. so really really massive downgrade, steve jobs would throw on his tightest turtleneck sweater and cry if he knew how bad the battery life on these things are. so again my professional opinion here definitely not worth getting. with quality seemingly getting worse yet more expensive honestly i’m just considering getting non-apple wireless earbuds (even tho i love how easy these connect). oh i almost forgot one last thing that also sucks in comparison to my gen 2’s is you know when you take ur airpods out, either to put them somewhere or back in the case. my gen 2’s would stop playing music, with these it’s a super fun game where sometimes ill take both airpods out and it’ll decide to disconnect and start playing my music full volume out loud on my phone. so if ur looking to randomly blast waka flaka from ur iphone’s speaker while ur at work look no further than the gen 4’s.

Xmas returns
I will never purchase electronics at a Target again. I bought them As a as present. In the meantime my granddaughter found hers. These were returned to the store with a receipt 25 days later and they are not returnable. Never opened still in box. If you buy any electronic make sure it is within 14 days. You cannot buy early for Xmas. Horrible policy.

Much bigger in size than previous airpod gens
These are bigger in size than the 1st and 2nd gen AirPods so if you have small ears, don’t be surprised when they don’t fit well in your ears. They constantly fall out of mine so I have to readjust them every so often. They do last a lot longer than previous gens thankfully. The sound quality is very good. I like how Apple redesigned them to an extent… my issue is the larger size of the AirPod.

Constantly about to fall out of my ears
They do constantly feel like they’re falling or about to fall out of my ears. I got these on sale after I lost my gen 2 AirPods and they don’t sell gen 2 that aren’t used or refurbished. The sound quality isn’t that great either. I just kind of use them as a means to an end to listen to music at work and at the gym but Apple really needs to go back to their old design :/

The AirPods Pro 4 are a really excellent choice I had no issue with the product. The only issue I had was the fact the target at the Glenview location and sold me used AirPods with someone else’s Apple ID . To begin with, target should not sell used AirPods at all it’s very unsanitary and could cause ear infections if I’m buying AirPods at target I expect to get brand new ones not used ones, I’m sure everyone else would agree with me as well
