Oral-B iO Series 4 Electric Toothbrush with Brush Head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to find out influencer was sending me the Oral-B IO3. I have an older electric toothbrush. I included a picture of both of them with my review. In the past couple of months I purchased, an IO for my kids. I was happy to find this one is a little different so they won’t all get mixed up. The I03 is a big upgrade from my old brush. I have noticed the Cleaning performance seems to be upgraded. I’ve gotten a great clean everytime. My old brush only had one setting. This one has three. Regular brushing, sensitive, brushing, and whitening. I’ve also noticed that I have less issues with this brush, splattering everywhere than my old brush. Hazard of electric is cleaning the splattering from the bathroom, especially when the kids brush. This one seems to be better at not doing that. I also like the light indicator on this toothbrush my old one only has one for the battery, not for brushing. The IO has one as well, but I like the one on the IO3 better. It is towards the top of the brush and easy to see in the mirror because it wraps around the top. If the light is white, you were brushing lightly, if it is green, you are brushing the optimal amount of pressure, and if it’s red, you are brushing too hard. I’m pleasantly surprised to find I am generally brushing the correct pressure. After you have brushed for two minutes and turn the brush off, you get a nice colorful rainbow of colors on the indicator. This brush seems to hold a great charge, my old one last close to a week. I haven’t fully tested yet, but I have noticed my kids have gone three weeks or more without having to charge. This one has a charging indicator light so will watch for that when the time comes. Overall, this has been the best electric toothbrush I have owned. The IO is a less expensive option, and also good, but I really like the indicator on this brush, and most importantly it does a great job of cleaning my teeth.

The cleaning power is excellent. It uses oscillating-rotating technology, and you can really feel it doing a deep clean, especially along the gumline. Battery life is solid and last very long time.

This was definitely an upgrade compared to the rechargeable toothbrushes I’ve used. The brush head has super fast rotation, and charging the unit did not take long. The smart modes let me know if I was putting too much pressure on my teeth, as well as having a built-in timer to make sure I cleaned long enough. I did not find the noise level to be too high, and the toothbrush stayed charged even when I forgot to put it on the base at night. I highly recommend this to others.

I usually just use a soft bristled manual toothbrush, as I’m a pretty simple lady. But I think Oral B might have changed me! I’m feeling hip to the electric hygiene game! The bristles are nice and soft, for my fellow sensitive gums/teeth soul sisters. I feel like I got a deep and thorough clean, without the pain! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the power behind this electronic toothbrush versus my old non Oral B brand!My teeth feel so clean after, and i like how it lights up close to the brush area if I'm brushing too hard, and it'll be green if I'm putting the right pressure while brushing. The noise level isn't loud when in use, and it charges fast! It comes with one brush head and the charging stand as well with no USB plug in needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothbrush is super cool and amazing! I've never enjoyed cleaning my teeth like this before. I tried one of Oral-B's older electric brushes, but it didn't clean as well as this one. I didn't have to struggle to reach every part of my teeth. This brush felt great as it gently massaged my gums, removed plaque, and cleaned out the dirt from between my teeth.

Made so much better compared to cheaper electric toothbrushes. Battery seems to be holding up good so far and I love the charging design how it’s easy to just sit on charger without actually having to plug in.

++ Love the ease of use - light up sensor, timer and will shut off after 2 min has passed. - - I have also used Sonicare, similar quality but Sonicare is more affordable. Sonicare is also more similar to a standard toothbrush head which is easier to angle/contour toward the gums without being too aggressive.

If we could give Oral-B IO electric toothbrushes zero stars, we would! We bought two brushes, and one of them stopped working within a month. We had to contact Oral-B for a refund, wait for a return label, and then buy packing tape and a box to send it back to them. We are still waiting for our refund. This has been a huge waste of time. Our second toothbrush stopped charging last night, so it lasted only 1.5 months. We contacted Oral-B again, and this is what they told us: "Our 60-day money-back guarantee is limited to one refund per name, household, or address. We can, however, assist with the process of sending the brush to one of our service centers to get it back in working order." So, we can't get a refund for our second toothbrush because their 60-day policy only allows for one return per address! This is ridiculous! Two toothbrushes stopped charging or working within 1.5 months! We will never purchase from Oral-B again! Also, be sure to read reviews carefully—most of them received the product for free in exchange for a review!

This is one of the worst ones I’ve ever bought! This is my second one and died within 3 months!! The one before this died with in 6 months and molded bad also! DONT BUY!

I bought this a year and a half ago, and it worked pretty well up until about 3 months ago when it started dying after a week/10 days. Mind you I’m not brushing my teeth 5x a day, and I don’t leaving it sitting on the charger for days. This shouldn’t be happening. My old tooth brush lasted 8 YEARS and I abused that thing. And now it just completely stopped working, so I sent it in and now the supposed 2 year warranty just doesn’t apply because I don’t have the PAPER receipt from a YEAR and a half ago. That’s just their way to get out of honoring the warranty. Also I did register this toothbrush, so what’s the point of doing that if you’re not going to honor the warranty??

Worst tooth brush in history! Do. Not. Buy. I wish I read reviews earlier. Missed my window to return. The mold, disgusting, the battery life, weak. But mostly it’s the mold. So so gross and waste of money!

I had an Oral B toothbrush for years that I finally replaced with this model after my old one stopped charging. This toothbrush is horrible. As others have said, the design of the brush head makes it fill with liquid and mold easily and it sprays everywhere when I brush. It is hard to clean. Very disappointing - avoid this model.

I love the functionality ,design ,App Integration, ease of use I 100% would recommend but probably not this model since the price is quite high!

Disliked that it got mold in the crevices quickly. Mold grows quickly around the base and all inside the head. The design of the brush head makes it a mold magnet. Many unreachable places inside the head that when you start rinsing mold comes out. Gross & unsanitary. Waste of money.

Toothpaste constantly rolls down the toothbrush. The battery doesn’t stay charged longer than 5 days. The toothbrush doesn’t shut off after 2 minutes. I’ve had this toothbrush for 5 months and I’m switching to another brand.
