I have had this bag for years and it has held up exceptionally well. Perfect size for travel or when you just need “more” out of your everyday bag. LOVE the silver hardware. The only improvement I can think of is the shoulder strap. I feel it could be wider and have a grippy material to prevent sliding. That being said, I do wear a lot of merino wool and never have to worry about the strap pilling my clothing.

I've used this bag for many years now. It's the most versatile one they make. However, I would love to see this exact bag, in a laptop size, with the brown, blue or black fabric/**GOLD accents. Event though the design on this bag leaves a little to be desired, I absolutely love it because I can fit my purse organizer-insert inside, and there are still lots of convenient interior and exterior pockets to put keys, water bottles, glasses, gum, everything, really, except my laptop! We travel for biz, and it's so nice to be able to have everything at your fingertips. The top zip prevents your items from coming out (genius), especially when you fling your purse into the back seat. What prompted this review?... I saw the Nolita Laptop Tote, which is beautiful!, but it lacks the adjustable cross body strap, so I didn't get it. It's really beautiful though! Keeping my fingers crossed they will hear my input and oblige!

I love this bag so much, I have purchased it, twice! It's so practical for those who travel, or who want a purse that holds EVERYTHING and it turns into a backpack. The top zipper extends all the way across, with no gaps. If you toss your purse under a seat on an airplane, or into the back of your car, nothing falls out. It's also machine washable. The only thing I would change, is the wristlet...useless. Get the Triple Zip Bagg Small Crossbody Bag, instead! It is wonderful. It holds everything you need for a small purse, and fits perfectly into this purse. Take it in and out for farmer's markets, or as a crossbody bag at the airport/concert/sports event. This brand was designed by flight attendants and airline pilots. You can tell! Super practical. So glad to see it on Target - I bought my first bag at the Charlotte airport years ago, and am a big fan ever since!

I bought this in French Navy. The bag I received is more dark gray/black. If it's blue, it's very, very dark.... Disappointed.

I needed a bag that I could easily convert to backpack, while also fuctioning as a handbag and/or crossbag. The bag is a great travel handbag; however the conversion to backpack is never impractical - it requires taking the shoulder strap and threading it through a loop. Once you are ready to place the backpack on your back, the first arm goes through just fine. But because of shifting of the bag it is harder to place your second arm into the second loop. Bag construction: fabric good, size good, the handles are great nice feel. Bag function: handbag (over arm or carried by handles great; crossbag good; backpack did not meet expectations. Bought the Trifecta bag, which performs much better as backcpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit - I was a bit neurotic about choosing the right bag for my upcoming trip - so I bought 3 and analyzed each one. The competitors to the 3-In-1 Convertible bag were The Avenue Tote and the Any Day Tote. The 3-In-1 won hands down! I liked it because it felt like a regular handbag - not just a personal carry on. I liked the fact that there was no padded divider for the laptop - because that takes up unnecessary room - especially if you have a padded sleeve for the laptop. I loved all the pockets on the outside and inside. Of course the RFID blocking wristlet was a plus. I didn't love the short handles, because I prefer shoulder bags or cross body BUT this bag offers both those options as well. And most of all? I LOVED the fact that there is an additional pocket on the back, that doesn't interfere with the luggage sleeve. That means that you can slip your bag over your luggage handle and you still have access to a pocket to hold you passport or important papers. Having them in the front made me feel a bit exposed, and unable to protect them. Having the additional pocket on the back gave me a more secure feeling - and it was only on the 3-In-1 that it was available. Although the other two bags were slightly bigger in dimensions and might accommodate a bit more stuff inside, I felt there was a limit to what I was willing to carry - weight-wise so once again the 3-In-1 won. And the fact that I've used the same crossbody bag from Baggalini for the past several years - day in and day out - and it's still in great condition sold me on this company. I'm traveling next month and have a feeling that this will be my preferred bag for a long, long time.

I just got this bag and I love it. It's large without being too big, great as a mom bag to throw diapers and bottles in. I love it has many pouches and I really like the extra wristlet. The only downside is that when you make it into a backpack (which is why I bought it) you only have one strap and when you take it off the whole slides down and flips over and items can come out of your bag. So, I just bought 2 new straps so I can attach them like a regular backpack. 2 straps should be included with this bag. Also, black straps are not sold separately so I had to get patterned straps. I would prefer black. This could also be fixed by the company by changing the loop that makes it into a backpack into an actual metal clip on.

I bought this for a recent trip. It slips right on the handles of my rolling suitcase but after checking my bag, to walk around the airport, I was able to put it on my back. It is slim and it does not hold a lot. For example, I put a large makeup case with toiletries and a smaller makeup case plus glasses and a book, but it is slim. It is not holding an extra jacket or sweatshirt and I used it more as a large purse/tote for the travel days. It's made very well and a respectable style bag for a woman as a "backpack." I would recommend it as long as you were not hoping to pack clothing in it.

It fits everything from my bigger tote bag without having to carry such a big bag around. Love all the pockets. And I love that it’s blue inside so I can actually see where things are. I bought two of these in case something happens to this one. I will use this for the next 20 years of my career

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of traveling and this bag is awesome! Works great on handles of a roll around suitcase, as a (large) purse, and as a backpack! I love that water bottles fit in the outside pockets and there is a large outer zip pocket to keep necessities easily accessible. My only complaint is that the strap that converts it to a backpack should have a strong snap (or multiple snaps) to hold the strap in place while using it as a back pack, as the entire purse drops to one side when you take off one (or both) of the shoulder straps. I've used a large decorative pin but they don't hold up. After two years and lots of use, one side pocket (water bottle) seam has started to come apart. I tried to repair myself but the fabric is so thick I could barely get my needle through.

I love big bags, especially when I travel. But it's not easy to find something that can double as a backpack and tote/shoulder bag, and still be stylish enough to carry sightseeing, or for shopping and lunch expeditions. This bag is great because it looks good no matter how you configure it, and it holds everything you could possibly need, and then some. I can fit my reading and sun glasses in the roomy end pockets, which are also the perfect size for carrying a water bottle and small umbrella. Front zipper pockets are perfect for my phone and back up chargers, and the large front pocket has enough space for a small tablet and stylus, or an old fashioned notebook and ink pen, with the bonus of extra card slots for anything you don't want to put in your wallet. It's too small for my 10 inch Ipad, but the rear snap pocket is the perfect size, unless you want to unzip it at the bottom and use the pocket as a sleeve to attach it to the handle of a suitcase or carry-on. The roomy interior has plenty of space for a large wallet and cosmetic bag, with room to spare for a book or other small items. I'm still waiting for Baggallini to design a large zipper cosmetic bag that is just the right fit with the zip around wallet. I carry a waterproof Vera Bradley for now, but would really like to have a fully matched set. Also loving the spacious interior zip pocket, and there are even more card slots, if you still don't have enough to go around. The long adjustable strap makes converting it from backpack to crossbody a breeze, and super practical when you want to keep it close and secure. I also like shortening the strap to carry it as a shoulder bag, but I think longer carry handles would add even more dimension, and make it easier to carry without having to sling it across your back or shoulders. Overall, I think it rates 5 stars for being the most versatile, roomy, and lightweight bag I've ever owned, with extra points for the stylish design. If you like big, roomy bags you can haul most everything you need in, without feeling like you're dragging your closet behind you, I very highly recommend it.

I used this bag a lot. It's great for travel with outside pockets for my phone/passport/kindle that are super convenient. But the end of the zipper popped off after 6 months of use and I can't close it. It can't work as a backpack hanging open!

I own 4 of these bags in 3 different colors!! I travel A LOT…and I great appreciate the size, pockets, structure…. The outside side pockets get used for a water bottle and sunglasses & reading glasses with cases!! I use it as a backpack, crossbody, regular on the shoulder and using the handle. I love that it can slide into my carry on handle… absolutely the best companion bag for travels. I’ve thrown these bags into the washing machine and every single come out perfect!!
