The Premium Rug Pad provides a firm foundation feel underfoot, while adding a nonskid layer between an area rug and your floor. Its low profile allows area rugs to lay flat to the floor, keeping them in place and making vacuuming easier. A rug pad is recommended to prevent slipping and to keep the rug lying flat in one place

The biggest crease was folding it in half lengthwise and that laid down very quickly so no problem there. I've had heavy boxes moving around trying to get the other creases out. While they improve slightly, they're not going away. I don't know what else to try.

It’s quite thin, I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes, cushion wise, but it definitely helps it from sliding. Would definitely order again!
