Guests are saying
This roll-on sunscreen offers a unique blue tint that helps guests see where it has been applied, making it ideal for kids. Many guests appreciate its easy application and mineral-based formula, which is less greasy than traditional lotions. However, some guests experienced issues with effectiveness, including sunburn and skin irritation. Overall, it is a convenient option for on-the-go sun protection, especially for children's delicate skin.

My #1 Kids Sunscreen favorite
My go to for my kid and me - she loves to roll it on, you can see where it is because it’s blue, and it works. We buy 3 and keep one for back up and one in the diaper bag.

Burnt
Really wanted to like this sunblock but my kids still got burnt even after reapplying every time they got out of the pool.

No burn - after a day at soccer camp
A little white cast but my kids are pale so not noticeable. Really like that you can see where you’ve put it (a must with wriggly kids!) also applied in the morning before soccer camp & kids didn’t burn. Previously burned the day before with another brand. Really like it.

Minimal white cast
I have a bit of an olive tan skin tone and this gives somewhat of a minimal white/blue cast but not noticeable to a stranger who doesn’t know your natural skin tone. Have to rub it in a bit before it melts into the skin.

Sunburn and rash
I never leave reviews for products but I feel it is necessary to share our experience. I was really excited about a roll on facial sunscreen for my son which was easily applied but even with multiple applications he still got unwanted sun on his face and after a few days use started having a rash/ dry patches on his face.

Still got a burn
We used this a few days ago when we were out in the sun for about 4 hours. I reapplied this to my daughter about 5 times throughout the day and her face still burned. I love the roll on applicator and that it goes on blue so you can see it, but it did not work to protect her face from the sun at all.

It didn't work
The sunscreen did not come out, at all. I rolled it for SO long, shook it, tried everything. Nothing ever rolled out

Skip it
After rubbing in it caused a burning sensation. Days later I'm still dealing with some sort of rash/ chemical burn.

Do not buy!
This is terrible! Leaves dry patches after wearing. There must be something in the dye for the blue coloring that does that. I wanted to love this. Gave both my kids rashes on their faces and they don’t have sensitive skin. Very disappointed in this product.

Caused dry patches of skin
Love roll on sunblocks and this was the only one with zinc. Yay right? Nope, disappointed that it caused kids to have some extremely dry patches after wearing all week and hanging in the salt-water pool.

Best so far! Great consistency.
I never write reviews but read others’ carefully to help me make a decision. So I want to repay the favor. I really like this roll on sunscreen. It applies easily and then needs to be rubbed in. It spreads easily (more so than creams in a tube) and the blue tint disappears better than other white creams. It’s not greasy, so sand doesn’t stick to them. I much prefer mineral sunscreens and my kids have liked this the best (and I’ve tried a lot). No burns so far - even though they swam nonstop under super strong sun.

Still needs to be rubbed in
My children were able to sample the Coppertone Kids SPF 50 Roll-on Suncreen Lotion. They liked that it wasn't greasy and it seemed to protect them from the sun. They weren't impressed with the color, they prefer their sunscreen to blend into their skin. There was still a bit of a blue tint after being rubbed in. I would say it was less than the white they usually have from other zinc suncreens. Even though it is a roll-on, you still need to rub it in. I like that it uses zinc oxide as the active ingredient. There seem to be a lot of ingredients but I like that it doesn't have oxybenzone, octinoxate, parabens, PABA and phthalates and that it's fragrance free.

Perfect for sun protection
Works like it’s supposed to. Love that it comes out blue to easily see where sunscreen has been applied. The bottle doesn’t leak. It’s easy to use and sunscreen isn’t sticky.

Added ingredients not good for sensitive skin
Just to note, the high ratings on this sunscreen are from product reimbursement reviews. We tried it because of the high ratings and did not see any unbiased reviews. Though this is a mineral sunscreen, there are added ingredients, i.e. the blue color and chemicals in it that caused an extreme rash in my 8 yr old daughter. Not only that, but it didn’t work, didn’t appear to be the stated SPF and caused her to burn. We’ve used way better kid sunscreens with Babyganics and Thinksport.

Perfect for kids!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love this product because it avoids aerosol and also isn't a sticky lotion that my kids hate to put on. It goes on blue which lets me see that they got good coverage. And then it rubs in clear. This will be perfect for summers paddle boarding because it's easy to carry around with me and have on hand for protecting our skin from sunburn.
