Shipping is terrible. I had 3 delivered because they came damaged. It’s too expensive for the quality. Cheap materials and parts don’t fit well. I’ve had it for almost a year and I still regret buying it.

Pros: Looks good. Fast delivery. Cons: Build tolerances quite poor. Horrendous shipping. Lots of pieces don’t quite fit together. I’ve put together a ton of furniture. For whatever reason, this one doesn’t have the pieces align at all.

Nice enough. I bought 2 of these to make one long buffet in the dining room from wall to wall. It’s decent quality but not a forever piece. It was very easy to put together. I actually did both myself without and help from the hubby. The doors are really difficult to line up. Also it dings super easy. When the item was delivered there was a rip on the box and it came damaged on the top front and the bottom front. I tried to add some black wood filler and it helped but it’s not perfect.

I’ve had very good luck with Studio McGee furniture from Target in the past. Unfortunately this time this credenza has been a complete waste of time. Our first one arrived with a lot of damage to the box and the credenza was damaged with a huge dent in the front middle of the top board. We called to return it and were told we’d have to figure out a way to bring it in to the store even though it was delivered to our home. They would not pick it up. It was a hassle to return it. We ordered a replacement and the replacement came damaged. The bottom front corner was all crunched and dented as well as a back top corner. The shipping boxes are too thin and are damaged too easily and the furniture inside is not packed well enough to prevent damage. The hassle is not worth the $500 this tv stand costs.

I have been searching high and low for the perfect black wood credenza/sideboard and I finally found it! While this is technically a "tv stand/media console", it works great in the dining room. It's long, a good height and has ample storage space with several cutouts in the back panel for cords and cable management. Plus soft close doors!!! It's a fantastic heavy piece that can go with many decor styles due to it's clean simple lines. I couldn't tell from the photos, but the base is constructed of metal. It blends in seamlessly and provides really good support. Be warned, it takes 2 people to build because it's HEAVY, and it took us about 3 or so hours. I did deduct a star for a handful of reasons... 1) It's a little pricey for Target (in my opinion), but I do think it is worth the cost. I've been searching for months for a good credenza and all of the 'nice' ones were more than double this price. 2) One of the metal tabs that connects the metal base to the cabinet wasn't aligned properly with one of the screw holes. Luckily, it was an easy fix for us. We carefully hammered the tab a little closer to the hole and we got the screw to go in. 3) It might be better if the guides for the hinges were actually predrilled holes. It took forever adjusting the doors to be perfect. In the end, we got there, but we had to loosen a few screws on the hinges to get the doors lined up. I don't like this since it makes some of the doors feel less stable when the doors get flung open. I'm usually a fan of the Studio McGee line and this exceeded all expectations. I will definitely be buying more furniture from here!

Received a few minutes ago after a 3 day delay In Shipping. First 2 Wood panels out of the box totally dented and damaged. Should’ve listened to reviews.

I know it’s a tv console but it looked perfect as a dinning room sideboard. It’s tall enough and slim for my space. I wanted a black sideboard from Arhause for 5x the price but I honestly think this is so much better.

Pleasantly surprised that the piece was shipped without any damage. Took about 3 hrs to put together. Very satisfied with the quality. The doors did take some toying around with, but I was able to get them fairly even.

It’s a beautiful cabinet. Really love the rich color and the sturdiness of the piece. I gave it four stars instead of 5 because the doors are not even. My husband and I tried messing with the hinges for awhile and couldn’t get them to be even. We still kept the cabinet because we like the overall size, color and the spacious storage it provides for our gaming consoles.

Don’t waste your money & time Defective, doors not even, very hard to assemble, and the wood is damaged and broken already

This cabinet is beautiful, modern, and sturdy. It did take some time to put together but we are very pleased with the quality. Although it’s listed as a media cabinet it’s also great as an entryway table or sideboard. The doors close slowly thanks to the hinges. There’s plenty of storage which makes this cabinet perfect for our home.

Loved the finish but the doors are uneven (even after messing with the hinges) and the corner of the top came dinged.

Beautiful, however upon arrival the supporting bar was broken in half at the welding point. Customer support was very helpful in the return process. I will be repurchasing two of the smaller cabinets, as I have a curious toddler, and don’t want to risk a furniture break.

Absolutely beautiful! I’ve been waiting for over a year to find the perfect cabinet to put under our mounted TV and this was worth the wait!! It is great quality and sturdy. The cabinets are soft close with adjustable shelves. It is big and taller which I love. It took my husband about 2.5 hours to put together by himself. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for the perfect statement piece.
