  • A: Mine stopped working after two years and yes it was the batteries. The batteries they come with are only good for 25 months. Purchased some replacement solar batteries and they turned on instantly!

    less than 2 hours of run time

    Not even two hours of run time after 8pm. I got these for my son, when he leaves for school around 6:00 a.m., to be able to see the front door area more clearly without having to pull out his flashlight on his phone to be able to lock the front door. they're very cute aesthetically at night. I guess they will make it easier for package. delivery is after 8:00 p.m. for a couple hours. They also get direct sunlight for almost the full day. plenty of time to charge.

    Fades Fast, Looks Old Quickly

    Looked great when first installed, but within a year the lens turned yellow and cloudy despite being in a shaded area. Cleaning with soap, water, and even alcohol didn’t help much, the discoloration seems to be from UV damage to the plastic. It still works, but it looks old and dingy, which defeats the purpose of buying something modern and stylish.

    Backyard lanterns

    Absolutely love the look of the lantern. I have put it along my fence in my backyard. it provides just enough glow to light up the areas along my fence. I love the look of the lightbulb.
