Poor quality, wont last more than a few months

Initially, I liked the product! It’s soft and while the shag is relatively low pile and not very thick, I felt it was reasonable for the price. However, two months in, I am very disappointed in the quality. We walk on it daily - two adults, one toddler, one cat. The rug is getting matted and flat. It looks horrible, worse than my precious shag rug which got that way only after 5+ years of use!!! I doubt it will even last 6 months and I greatly regret this purchase now.
