Gorgeous!

I already had gold flatware that never got used and was looking for black and gold dinnerware. This set is gorgeous! I love the subtle "dimples" and slightly irregular edges of the plates, and the coffee cups are perfect - not the useless little 6 ouncers that often come with a dinnerware set.

Beautiful and festive

The only thing my fiance could think of for our wedding registry was a set of Christmas plates, and after searching the internet we decided on this set to compliment some very holiday accent plates. The green with the gold makes for a festive holiday plate without being over the top. We plan to use them Nov-December. They aren't microwave safe so we do need to keep other plates around, but it is worth it. They feel nice and sturdy and look beautiful. The only thing I don't love is how the insides of the mugs are white.
