Q: Does this showerhead remove salt from the water also?

Salt is fully dissolved at a molecular level, and filtering it requires systems like reverse osmosis or distillation, which aren’t used in shower filters. That said, it’s very effective at improving overall shower water quality by targeting the most common skin and hair irritants.

The replacement filter can be found at most reputable marketplaces and is in the process of being onboarded to Targe as well. Leaks no matter what I do

Despite reading the instructions (which lack an description of each part or diagrams of where each part goes) and watching the video (which doesn't include any information that's not in the print instructions), I have tried multiple times to install this, and even asked the lone question about it. But it just keeps leaking out of both connection points. I ran out of the Teflon tape (which is also referred to as plumber's tape within the materials) on my attempt today. I don't see any troubleshooting advice on Mist's website. I think I'm going to take it back.

Needed this for our nasty water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just moved here and find our water to leave a white film on everything and my hair is so dry and frizzy. A neighbor told me to get a filter and would install for me, but I didn't need help as it was simple ad easy to put on. The filter is already making my hair and skin feel better.

So far so good!

It seems like the bottom shower buildup is not progressing as it rapidly was before. I am hopeful this will help keep our shower much cleaner.

My skin feels very clean after a shower with this

My skin and hair feel softer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Southern California and water quality is not great here. So I decided to try a shower filter to see if it would improve water quality. Installation of Mist Water Softening Chrome Shower Filter was a breeze and it hasn't affected water pressure of my shower. I notice the water doesn't smell like chemical any more right after I start the shower running and my skin and hair seem softer. I have dry skin and hair so I hope using Mist shower filter will improve the condition.
