VERY misleading packaging - plastics

We bought a bag of this coffee because of all of the messaging on the package (and website). Words like organic, renewable energy, sustainable, compostable, etc. Then we opened the packaging and the beans were stored in plastic. Completely surprised to find that something we bought because it was natural, organic, etc was stored in plastic. Threw it away and bought a different product.

MY all time favorite

My husband and I began drinking Organic Vermont Coffee when it was privately owned. When Stonewall Kitchen acquired the coffee, we continued. And tho my husband passed, I still drink the Dark roast…. At 89, I have been drinking coffee for a V E R Y long time! A N D for me, this DARK roast has the fullest deep flavor…. I drink mine black!

The Organic Dark Ground Coffee is amazing!

I recently purchased the pancake basket, 2 coffees and the pretzels with dips basket for friends who had gotten home from the hospital They said it arrived beautifully packaged and everything tasted amazing! The words our friends used to describe the gift was "Extravagant!" Thank you for going above and beyond on your foods and basket displays! I will definitely bless other friends in the future with your awesome gift options!

Lack of information and taste

A bag of Dark ground roast was sent to me as a gift. As a former coffee importer, I was a little surprised at the lack of information available about the origin of beans, both on the bag or the website. Why would you hold back on the origin of the bean? As for the taste, not the best, not the worst. Lack of information, makes me very leery. I will not purchase this brand.

Worst coffee ever

I disliked that this coffee seemed like it would possibly taste good, yet it did not. If anyone knows of an organic dark roast whole bean coffee that tastes good, then please let me know
