Ninja Foodi DualZone FlexBasket Air Fryer with 7-qt MegaZone DZ071: 7-in-1, Nonstick, Digital Control, Dishwasher-Safe

I was undecided for sometime whether to replace my Ninja Max with the FlexBasket model. I also looked at dual basket models from Ninja and other companies. I finally pulled the trigger , and so far I'm pleased with the purchase. The main reason for replacing my other air fryer was that it had a small, round cooking area that made it difficult to cook larger foods or two different kinds of food at the same time. There are many dual basket models that are well rated, but most of them are quite large which to me defeats the purpose of a counter top cooker (unless you don't have an oven). The ability to use the FlexBasket as a dual basket or single larger basket is a game changer, allowing me to cook larger portions or two different kinds of food without having to stage the cooking. Again, this was the main reason for replacement and it does this very well. The ability also to have both dishes finish at the same time (smart finish) or to quickly set the two sides to the same settings (match cooking) is convenient and time saving. The unit is also surprisingly compact for what it does, leaving room in front of it on the counter for other kitchen items. The fryer does have a few drawbacks. It is loud, especially with both sides in operation. It does not cook as evenly from top to bottom or as fast as my other fryer, and I find myself flipping foods more often during the cooking time. This is very likely a design trade off based on the shape of the cooking area. One thing that is a little disappointing is that the whole unit feels like a lighter build quality than my previous fryer - it just feels tinnier and less solid. I see this also in large appliances, and it seems a shame to spend so much for less quality. I think the basket handle is an example of this. I understand that it wraps around for stability but it has a cheap look and feel. Because of its functionality, I'm giving the Flexbasket 5 stars, only time will tell how well it will hold up.

I purchased my new air fryer and I love it. It is so wonderful I can bake on one side and air fry on the other. Ninja products are such great quality

Good product, however the beeping when it starts is too loud and it cannot be turned off, and being so powerful it is also loud when it's running! In short, if you don't mind the noise it's a good machine.

Works great, for a while. Non-stick coating on the crisper trays wore off in about one year. This is alarming from a health and safety perspective, along with the product quality implication.

I purchased this air fryer a few months ago and have only used it approximately 12 times. Unfortunately, it has suddenly stopped working. Don’t even waste your money on this product.

Have enjoyed this air fryer. The removable divider makes it easy to use whole basket or can use for 2 different items. Can use feature to have both items done at same time even if each has a different temp and end time

Even, quick heating and the dual zones are really handy. Haven't done too much with the megazone but am looking forward to doing dinner parties and meal prep with it . Basket can be a little tricky to get ingredients out of due to it's rectangular/wide size, especially if you're coming from a square basket model but it's a small tradeoff for all the extra surface area and the flexibility of one large, divided basket versus two individual smaller baskets.

This replaced a five-year-old cylindrical-style unit that we thought worked really well… until we got this. We mostly use our air fryer for things that cook best in a single layer, so that added linear space is a big plus. The option to cook two foods at different types and for different times—but have them finish together—is a game changer.

It works great and would have given 5 stars. The reason for only two is because the trays Teflon has already scraped and started to flake with only being used ten times. I've always used silicone tongs and hand washed. Very disappointing that it's such a thin layer and not the slightest bit durable.

Product does the job well. But you can’t add any light foods because the fan will raise the food to the top and burn your food or melt away.

I absolutely love my Ninja Air Fryer. It is an excellent appliance that cooks food quickly and perfectly, with great results every time. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and incredibly convenient. Most importantly, it saves me a lot of time in the kitchen, which makes everyday cooking much more enjoyable.

I had a since compartment before but this allows me to do more at the same time. Works great!!

Saves time and electricity as you can do one load. The ceramic coatong makes it easy to clean. I would lobe to have another one.

I have the Nina grill foodie, was trying to get a newer version but I dont like it as much. small, does not have autooff when opening, and temperature not as high as the foodie. I recommend the foodie grill way better

New to air fryers so this is a learning curve but thus far we have been impressed with the finished product but I do long for a better instruction booklet. Can I do sourdough?

It works GREAT, it is getting some getting used to as my last air fryer was not a NINJA and the cooking times are much different. But for everything I have made I am enjoying, quick, easy, and SO EASY to clean
