terrible design and hard to seal

terrible design. the top has 2 metal plates right near the handle that get extremely hot. sure there is a earning on it, but if your hand slips, or you bump it you basically feel like you've stuck your hand or arm into a hot skillet. besides that it doesnt even work that great. my first few used it had to press down on the lid to get it to seal properly and it took forever to come up to pressure. wanted to love this, but it's getting returned.

Great product, not built to last

We were gifted an insta pot for Christmas. We loved it due to the options and the consistency. We loved the pressure cook feature for roasts and briskets. We used it to make soups, rice, chili, and the slow cook. We had the pot for about 2 years and now it no longer works. The button's do not respond rendering the insta pot useless. We loved the insta pot but are not happy with the durability of the cooker.

    Skip thia purchase.

Received broken and customer service was less than helpful. The front panel had a crack on the side and had dislodged from the top part. I have the mini lux instant pot and it is so much better quality than this. Feels cheap and not worth the price to me.

Arrived quickly and works as expected. Unfortunately, there's a dent in the inner pot. It doesn't affect the functionality, but it does kinda take away from the joy of having a brand new instant pot.

Replaced an off brand that was recalled. Love the stainless steel inner pot which is easier to clean than a "nonstick" one. Works flawlessly. Added to myt small Instant pot for bigger dishes. Stick with this brand!

    I think I got someone's returned item.

It arrived today and while I haven’t tried it yet, someone has since these were the included directions. Whoever had it before me practiced their name on the front cover and left a paw print on the back.
