Too much shedding!
I love the look and feel of this rug, but as others said it filled up my vacuum multiple times (see pic) and it seemed the more I vacuumed the rug was falling apart. It's going back which is a pain because it's so big. It's a shame because I loved the way it looked if it wasn't shedding and pulling so much.

Nice rug looks great but sheds
The rug looks great, but it does shed quite a bit. The first vacuum of the new rug almost filled our vacuum canister. With a good pad the rug looks really high quality

Sheds Everywhere
I bought this rug 1 year ago and it sheds like crazy. My baby crawls around this rug and I find rug fibers all over him and his toys. I would not recommend this rug to anyone. For some reason, I also find feathers???

Comfortable wool area rug
Beautiful off-white, neutral area rug with subtle striations of gray/black in the weave. It's soft under foot and comfortable on my concrete floors. Very good quality wool rug.

If rated only on looks and feel, This rug is easily a 5 star. The rug is beautiful and very soft under foot, especially when paired with a 1/3" pad (see photo). However, even though the rug is advertised/described as minimal shedding, this rug sheds a good bit. I've had it in place for approximately 3 and have vacuumed it several times (5 to be exact) and the fibers still fill up approximately a third of my vaccum canister (see photo). There is also significant fibers visible on my dark floor. The rug is also advertised/described as near the top of the durability scale. Again this has not been my experience. The rug is in a low traffic area. We have no children and do not wear shoes in the house. I do have two small dogs (less than 15 lbs) that do sometimes play in the room. Even with this minimal use, the rug is already fraying at on corner and showing multiple snags.

Lovely rug! Sheds a bit more than we anticipated. Also has some black specks & streaks in it; minimal, but there unlike the plain cream image pictured. Works better for us actually, as it will mask our black dogs hair.
