User friendly
I love this Nespresso machine! It’s very easy to use — just pop in a pod and press a button. It heats up fast and the coffee tastes amazing. The design is sleek and modern, so it doesn’t take up much space and actually looks nice on the counter. Definitely worth it.

Disappointing
When I purchased this at deep discount, I didn’t know it was being discontinued. Poor controls. Temperature is too low, which they must have known given the number of suggestions they offer, which don't work. Takes too long to heat between espresso brew and steam. We have a GE Profile oven that works fine and connected to internet easily. This machine is another story. I was never able to adjust settings. A disappointment. Use it, but far less than I would have if it worked properly.

We'd like to assist with the heating performance of your espresso machine. The hot water volume and temperature can be adjusted via the SmartHQ app. For steps on how to connect your machine to WiFi, see page 21 of the Owner's Manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--M-3x9EbA--/gmo14kg87rixmqbclrlz.pdf If there is a delay longer than a few seconds between heating and steaming, the heating will shut off and need to be repeated.

Excellent cuppa!
If you want more control over your espresso, this machine gives you that from grinding levels to how you pack the grounds in the portafilter. Also make a good thick froth.

I love the machine except 2 things. I can not get the app to sync up with the coffee maker. It would be nice if there was a video or a phone number to call for help. The other is when the beans are grinding, sometimes I hear a beep and the grinder stops. I have to take it apart and clean it 2 or 3 times before I can get it to complete a grind. There are no trouble shooting methods for this. I do not know if it is me or the machine or if there is an adjustment that can be made. Maybe even the beans that I am buying.

Buy Breville Instead
I had a Breville brand that I used several times a day for 5 years., never any issues. When it finally stopped working I decided on this cute GE machine to match my Cafe appliances even after reading the bad reviews. Within the first week the grinder jammed and it is such a pain to clean it out, so I bought a coffee grinder to use instead of using that piece of crap. I took care to do all of the preventative maintenance required, 6 months later the steam wand stopped working so I microwaved the milk and used a separate frother. 10 months later it stopped working all together and now it is going to the trash. Also the pretty brass has come off the handle. I’ve replaced with another Breville, so here is to another 5 years of wonderful expresso 😉

I love with this machine
I absolutely love this machine, it’s very user friendly, large water tank, plus its sleek modern design is what drew me to it, unlike any other machine out there. Since buying it I haven’t had one bad brew, it always comes out perfect, I also have a a Nespresso original machine but since getting the ge I haven’t used it . I’ve never used an espresso machine till this machine and it was so easy to learn. Best purchase this year.

For me, this is a very useful machine, and I really like it. I own a coffee shop, I use this machine at home. The espresso it extracts is excellent, of course, as long as your pair it with good, fresh coffee beans.

Mixed feelings about this machine
I got this machine as a retirement gift from my company. I've got mixed feelings about it. As far as configuration goes, the settings are limited. It makes a decent espresso though. There are two major issues I've got with it. The first is the portafilter. It seems small, barely even capable of holding 20g of beans without seriously compacting the beans against the screen. The second is the grinder. It's prone to jamming and hard to clean. Lately, even after THOROUGHLY cleaning it, I can't grind beans for a single espresso without it jamming. Sorry to say, when (not if) I replace this unit, it will be a different make.

Beautiful Coffee Machine
This machine a absolutely beautiful; it's sleek and elegant. I give it 4 stars because the grinder stopped working about 6 months in. I thought it was user error, but I cleaned/vacuumed every other week. Turns out others have experienced this as well. GE was great in that as soon as a called about the issue they were able to replace it. Hopefully the second machine does not have this issue.

Has been replaced TWICE in a year (since Dec 2023)
We had a nespresso machine prior to this but my husband was drinking so much coffee it was getting too expensive, so we decided to dip into getting an espresso machine. Didn’t know anything about espresso machines so figured this was a good starter. It is very sleek and beautiful! Super easy to learn. Unfortunately we are now on our THIRD machine. The first one stopped working a few months after Christmas when I bought it for my husband. A light signal came on that was not in the manual, and thankfully was replaced by GE under warranty. Now we just had to send back that newer machine, because it just stopped grinding beans completely, no matter the amount of cleaning or resetting we did. I mean the only saving grace is that we are able to keep getting the machine replaced by GE (Thank you GE), but honestly I would’ve saved my couple hundred and invested in a much nicer machine. When it works exactly as it should it’s perfect. But that hasn’t been how it’s played out for us sadly.
