  • A: Good morning, First I would like to apologize on the response wait to your question. Our Technical Dept has responded back with the follow: First, ventilate the room by keeping windows and doors open for at least 72 hours. Vacuuming the carpet right after installation and daily cleaning can also help limit the smell. Sprinkling baking soda on the carpet and leaving it for 24 to 48 hours can absorb the smell.

Q: This rug has a terrible off-gassing odor. I purchased a second in hopes that it would be better but it is not. Anytime the sun shines on it, it releases a foul smell. Will washing it outdoors help?

  • A: The rug must be given the chance to dry on Both sides completely. It should not be left on the floor/ground to get saturated. Long exposure to wet without drying time any outdoor rug will began to smell. s You should have received cleaning instructions stating to air dry both sides and we advise to hang over a banister or somewhere that air can get to the front & back of the rug.

    Sorry i purchased

    This is a very flimsy rug. If using outdoors it will blow away. Additionally, it is rolled and shrink wrapped so tight it took me 1/2 hour to get the plastic off, and then the rug will not uncurl, it’s going to take a long time to straighten out. And lastly if you’re looking for red, this is not red, it’s a rust color.

    We recommend bringing indoors during extreme weather. Please see below for general instructions on how to flatten your rugs: How to lay out your rug: Place the rolled-up rug on the floor and lay flat. For rugs that don’t include a non-slip back, we recommend adding a rug pad first. Vacuum the rug surface without a beater bar (spinning brush head) to remove shed fivers and flatten the rug further. Flatten curled corners either by reverse rolling or placing a heavy stack of books to weigh them down. To remove creases, place a damp cloth over the creased area and gently iron over it to help relax the wrinkles. We highly suggest getting a rug pad for your rug. This will help tremendously in avoiding curls, creases or warps as well as following the instructions above.

    Nice but color isn't accurate

    It's a nice rug, we'll see how it holds up over time. (It is a bit on the thin side) However, the color is definitely not as pictured online. It's darker in person and has more brown weaving than beige. I actually thought they sent the wrong color when I opened it...was a bit dissapointed but going to keep it anyways.
