Disappointing and doesn't detangle
Looks like mine is a dud. The spray doesn’t mist, but shoots a sharp thin stream out that startled my dog with each spritz, and the scent was more sweet chemical with a hint of apple. I used it on my Shih Tzu and it didn’t help with any of her knots (from wearing a sweater), and actually left her fur feeling gross. It was like I sprayed soap into her fur and it dried clumpy.

Product works!
Just like all the other reviews, the nozzle does spray out a stream but I think it’s because the solution is actually thick so it can’t spray as a fine mist. That aside; it actually works. I have a long haired Maltese and I feel so bad pulling on her when we’re brushing her hair but this really does smooth it out surprisingly! I’m no longer tugging on her little head.

Good product, poor bottle
The product seems to work very well for my dog. It has a nice, apple scent and helps to smooth out her fur. However, the bottle sprays very poorly, which means the product is not dispersed well at all. It needs a better mister to make it a repurchase.

Nice but check the nozzle before you buy
The spray smells lovely and isn’t too heavy. Unfortunately the nozzle seems to be defective on most of the bottles judging by the reviews. The spray came out as a forced stream instead of a fine mist, my dog didn’t like that. She got scared every time the stream hit her.

Good detangling spray
The up and up dog detangling spray did a good job at moisturizing and softening my dogs hair. His hair is thicker and coarser around his neck and back end and this product helped to soften it. Which made it easier to brush. The bottle needs work! The spray comes out in a jet stream and not a mist which my dog hated. I ended up spraying it on my hands and then wiping it on his fur. The smell was nice.

I wouldn't bother
This is marketed as a detangling spray. But they it's says to improve shine, so not really sure which it's for. Tried it with my 2 year golden retriever when grooming and I don't really feel like it helped. It sprayed in a very concentrated spot. I think it would be better if it misted more. It did smell good, like apple. I wouldn't likely buy again as it didn't really do anything except scare my dog when I sprayed it on her furm

Love this detangler! Pump is good, nice even mist, not too forceful of a stream. Nice mild scent. Works nicely for detangling and conditioning. Used on Royal Standard Poodle, he likes it, too. I definitely recommend trying it!

Helpful in removing knots
Easy to spray product with a nice, light scent. It did a pretty good job of helping me to get knots out of my dogs ears and tail, where her hair is longest. I needed to spray more in areas where her hair was densest. Nice to have when she comes in from exploring.

Smells good, bad sprayer nozzle
Smells so good! Works well on a few tangle zones on my dog, under his chin, near his “armpits” and near his tail. The only issue I have is the spray nozzle. It doesn’t spray wide- it’s just a straight shot which my dog does NOT like. It worked better for us when I sprayed it into my hands and worked it into his coat.

Changed my mind!
Well, I had low expectations for this… wasn’t sure how “good” a detangler for dogs could be, but wow was I mistaken! We have a Sheltie and a German Shepherd/Goldendoodle mix and it has worked amazingly on both of them! Easy to apply, we rubbed it in, and our pups loved the attention!

Dog detangler
Target UP Doggie Detangler- I loved the smell of this product but the spraying is a stream and it really wets the hair. I prefer a spritz spray. This caused the curls to really get wet and reclumb. It really a good detangler overall.

The bottle seemed a little small, but I suppose you're only going to need a little big with a medium-haired dog and the only reason you'd go through it too fast would be if you had a golden retriever or a malamute I guess. So the size I decided was fine. It's easy to spray with one hand, which was helpful when you're trying to hold a wriggly dog still long enough to use it on them. The scent was a bit more than I'd have liked. Too strong and an odd scent. But it's tolerable long enough to see if it helps. It helped on some of the looser tangles but the ones that are really in there, especially with a long-haired dog, it's not going to matter and you're just going to need to cut or shave. This only helps with regular upkeep, not getting out mats or anything like that. So in reality, a simple brush or comb would do the same thing and this product isn't really even needed, IMO.
