Doesn’t last
I bought this lip stain in the color sugey girl and though I do really like it, I just wish it lasted longer. The color is beautiful and it blends really easily as a lip liner it just doesn’t last very long for me.

When they do fade, it’s not in patches, which I appreciate. My favorite way to wear these are with a clear gloss on top. I am wearing Blushed Mauve in this photo. I have bought three more since receiving these to review.

Poor amount of use
Bought the Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in the color admire less than a week ago. Used twice and it worked great as both a lip liner and lipstick and the color was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The reason for the 1 star...after the 2nd use it no longer works. Cannot get any color out of the tip. Pricey product for the uses obtained.

Not a bad lip stain, just not a good one as compared to others out there. I’ve used maybe 5 times and already the product or supply is almost gone. So not a whole lot of product for the $10. I won’t buy again.

Great stain with precision application point
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a treat of a lip stain! I love the pointed felt tip that let me line with more precision than a brush would. It also helped spread the stain evenly vs deep points randomly. The product itself soaked in quickly and evenly. It wasn’t drying and it lasted all evening. I love the mauve because it’s just a hair darker than my natural lip color so it’s just enhancing. It’s also fairly buildable for nights you want darker or to blend it with another lip color. I didn’t even notice it was there after application which is my favorite kind. Overall, if it lasted as long as my matte stay 24 I’d make the permanent switch but this will stay in rotation for my less make up days

10/10 Last all Day/Night!!!!
This is a seriously incredible product! It lasts all day! (or night, I put it on before bed once when I bought my first one and woke up to the full color still on!!!) I don't often buy make up EXCEPT for lip products because I never have the right color that I need and I'll often use three different products to achieve what I want and have to reapply often. Also lipstick/gloss is sticky or chunky. These lip stains are so perfect and smooth because you can use them as a liner or all over the lip and then all you have to do is reapply chapstick or a clear gloss if you want some shine. I work in music/entertainment and this is the perfect product to wear ALL DAY for events. My coworker was wearing 35 Canyon and sent me and some other coworkers the link. We all have tried different shades and we LOVE them. I have 35 Canyon and Admire. I have been and will continue recommending it to everyone!! I am seriously considering ditching all my other lip products and just using these. I will be slowly purchasing every shade because this product is that perfect!!!

Nice applicator for a lip stain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently sent the covergirl outlast lip stains to try for a review. I was sent two colors, and unfortunately one of the stains was completely dried out and didn’t work at all. I’m not sure if this is a fluke or if this is something that can happen with this product, but I couldn’t use it which would be unfortunate if you purchased it. The one that did work was really nice. I think that they work really well as a lip liner stain because the applicator is really nice and precise. I thought it lasted for awhile and is a nice quality good value product. I’d like to try the other colors to see if there is something that has a bit more color payoff, but overall would recommend it.

It applies smoothly without any patchiness and it dries quickly without leaving your lips feeling dry and uncomfortable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new fave product and my on the go lip color . It is easy to apply and glides softly on my lips giving a full rich color . A little goes a long way and it blends perfectly on my skin tone. Surprisingly , this product does not come off easily so it is long lasting . It does not have a smudge and it is matte which I like because It look so natural on me . The texture is so fine and blended that the ingredients gives it a perfect smoothing effect on my lips. It not have any fragrance and it is not oily. So far , this is so perfect for everyday use , for work or a night out .

My only issue is that it dries quickly so if you want to blend it into your natural lip color, you have to do it quickly. Also store it cap side down, as the product can dry up in the bottle.

I interchange them and sometimes combine them. They last a long time and give a natural beautiful color. I use them on no makeup days and full glam days. I have used them few weeks now and they’re still wet. Will be repurchasing when they do dry out.

They line the lips better than most because you can be precise. Like with most stains, it's weightless, comfortable, and looks really natural. I did have some dry spots on my lips when I tried it a couple of times. It was a little difficult to get even on those days. Overall, it's a nice product that lasts a good amount of the day and I'd definitely recommend it.
