Martha Stewart Kids' Deluxe Dollhouse Bookshelf - Creamy White: Children's Wooden Bookcase and Miniature Toy Organizer with Bins

Was planning to buy several of these but after one, I’m not sure I will. Item arrives in two boxes and comes with so many pieces that need to be put together with those tiny wooden pegs. Half of which won’t stay in place. Some parts also had dents and knicks. My husband struggled putting it together at times and said it would be both harder and easier for two people, but definitely tough for one. I read other reviews on different sites that said this isn’t really white and they’re right. At first it looks like but it’s really a fully off white almost cream, and in lower lighting it looks like a pale butter yellow at times. So it’s not going to match the furniture in my daughter’s room, which is annoying. Once made, it is huge and will hopefully hold a lot but wish we had just gone with our guts and bought the better quality version from a better known brand.

We were actually involved in Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton and half of our home was flooded. The playroom was flooded and the dollhouse was in that area and my daughter was so sad because she really loved her guidecraft dollhouse. So we ordered her another one!

With reading some reviews I’m always Leary of peoples inability to have common sense. This was NOT a hard piece of furniture to put together. It takes laying out pieces, reading each diagram and common sense. It went together with two people in an hour. It’s very sturdy and fits together perfectly. We had no damaged pieces all the hardware and directions were in the box. I would highly recommend this unit. The color is a soft cream not white.
