Description

Reduce litter tracking in your home with our Light Grey Litter Trapping Mat from Drymate®. The soft material gently separates cats’ paws when they land on it, causing litter to be released from their paws. Litter attaches to the top fiber, reducing tracking throughout your home. Not only does the Drymate® Litter Trapping Mat reduce litter tracking it also makes cleanup around the litter box simple and easy. Gently shake the mat over the litter box to release the trapped litter, and machine wash as needed. For best results machine wash warm separately or hand wash. Hang to dry. Cat with sensitive paws? No worries! The soft fibers of the Drymate® Litter Mat are gentle on cats’ paws. Featuring the same waterproof backing as our original Litter Mat; floors are protected from litter box misses and accidents.

Q: How do you clean it with a poop or pee accident? Is it only stain treated or can I hose it down outside?

Q: This mat Savannah looks like it has material on it Versus the Drymat Light Blue Floral 29 by 36.. I Want to scrub it (cat accident) material may slowly come off... The Floral may be better for my needs

Great For My Cat

This is just what my cat needs, a large flat and thin area when the litter from the box scatters. It lays flat nicely and is of great material. I am able to brush it out as well as vacuum the area with no issue.

Cat Litter Mat

This cat litter mat is perfect for my needs. I have my litter boxes in an open cabinet area, and when the cats jump out, litter goes everywhere. I keep this litter mat on the floor in front of the cabinet. It has a good grip so it doesn’t move around. I use my light, handheld vacuum on it.

Lightweight litter mat

Lightweight litter mat that has a neutral color. This was used on a carpeted floor, which made it not stay in place very well. It would probably be better used on a hard floor surface. It caught litter decently but would tend to bunch up and the litter would spill off

Less Mess Mat

Having two cats can cause bits of cat litter throughout the house. I have tried many types of mats but with pretty much no luck. I decided to reluctantly try this mat out. If it didn't work, well, I would throw it with the others that were pretty much useless. I ended up pleasantly surprised as this mat does help reduce the little pieces of litter that I always seem to find while I'm barefoot. Now, it isn't a perfect solution, however it has seemed to collect quite a bit of litter from their paws. I have noticed that there are fewer stray cat litter pieces, which to me is a win! I vacuum twice a day as I have tile floors, but now find that the vacuum bag lasts a few days longer as I have less litter pieces on the floor. Again, it's not a perfect solution but for the price I find there is value. I don't think any solution will work 100% unless you vacuum their paws when they leave the litter box. I couldn't do that to my cats because they hate the vacuum. Overall, I think it is worth trying. Hope this helps.

Keeps litter off the floor!

The Drymate litter mat is a good size and really helps keep litter from scattering all over the floor. The material is soft yet durable, and it’s easy to shake out or clean when needed. The neutral gray color blends in nicely.

Best litter box solution yet! Highly recommend!

I have an old rescue cat who isn't always sure where the edges of the litter box are and often "colors outside the lines". This product absorbs liquids well and catches any solids. These come off easily when dry and leave little or no residue, unlike other solutions I've tried. They also catch any stray litter on his paws before it gets tracked out of his litter box area. The backing stops any leaks. They hose off easily and wash well. Despite the fact that they are light weight, they stand up to his litter scratching efforts very well. I can't recommend this product highly enough. Buy two so that you will have a clean one when the other is being washed.
