Stone by Mercer Project NENDO 16-Piece Dinnerware Set Stoneware, Service for 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stone by Mercer Project Nendo 16 piece dinnerware set is pretty solid. I like the simple color and shape of the plates and bowls. The plates are pretty flat with a lip around the edge to keep sauces on the plate. The bowls are textured to mimic a stone. The bowls also have a base on them which takes up a little more space in the dishwasher. the larger of the bowls are perfect for fried rice or noodle dishes as well as salads. The plates do get little scratches on them but the paperwork that comes with them says this will come off easily with Barkeepers Friend. I haven't tried it but I'm not worried about it either. Over all this is a pretty nice set that made a nice addition to my kitchen.

No two are exactly alike. Each bump and curve give them character of there own. They are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Even the simplest meal looks 5 star.

I really like that the set comes with dinner plates, salad plates, and two different type of bowels, cereal bowls (deeper bowl) & soup bowls (less deep but wider). Very nice set. I'm impressed.

They are easy to maintain - I’ve accidentally knocked one of them on a counter top and no cracks or chips. We have exposed shelves In our kitchen, and the color and look of these is so versatile.

The white color makes it easy to coordinate different themes. The bowls are large and can be used for all in one individual servings or as serving bowls. They are a nice quality stoneware.

I love the look of the bowls as they have a unique look about them. I love how big the dinner plates are and how all dishes are heavy and feel like great quality. The matte black looks really nice and matches my kitchen decor really well. These dishes are very easy to clean and store. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Stone dinnerware set by Mercer Project. The set came with 4 large plates, 4 small plates, 4 salad bowls and 4 soup bowls. We love the abstract design and the clean white finish. These are oversized compared to our other dinnerware. We have been more than pleased with these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dish set because I liked how rustic it looked in the pictures, and you get a lot of pieces, but once I opened up the box and looked at the dishes they were more rustic than I expected. My husband said that it looks like someone made the dishes as part of a pottery class. Also, we got the white set and they seemed to scratch very easily with our silverware. I think it's an interesting set, and the dishes have weight and feel like quality, but I wouldn't get another set like this.

The salad bowls are huge and they're perfect for a nice large serving of gumbo. The plates are a nice size, as well. I'm able to fit a full course meal on one without anything touching, which is an issue for my kiddos. The set matches perfectly with my French Chef decor and is a wonderful addition to my kitchen! Everyone who has eaten at my house has complimented me on the set. I only wish they had came with coffee cups to match.

The pure white color is great for plating, and making all your meals look amazing. The generous size of the dishes is great as well, as I personally prefer a bigger plate to be able to cut with ease and also spread my foods out.

Very modern is how they look, and are made from very durable materials . The Sage Grey color is nice ,and will go with most table settings . The bowls are deep and have a unique texture to them . That makes them feel hand made . Looks like I'll need to buy more so I can have enough for my whole family .

The design is unique and a conversation starter. Mercer project has many different designs. This is the Nendo series in white. Very beautiful yet functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this set! The set itself comes with two different size plates, and two different size bowls, 16 in total and 4 or each respectively. The dishes themselves are (to me) very rustic looking in the best way possible. Each one is unique and has a very hand crafted look. Each one is imperfect so no two look the same. The smaller bowls are perfect for your typical cereal, small side salads, etc. the larger ones are literally perfect for soups and chili’s, due to the larger wider shape. Very sturdy and heavy so it really leads to a greater sense of safety knowing that it’s not going to tip over or lead to accidental spills. Dishwasher and microwave safe, so cleanup is a breeze and reheating is no problem. What really Impressed me however was that on the bottom of the plate it has a section in braille! I personally Have no issue with being visually impaired, but it’s really awesome to see that it was something that was thought of. Great product!

This set is very heavy and large. I did get it in black and it is easy to scuff up with silverware. I usually use plastic silverware when using these dishes.

It definitely doesn't look like anything you can buy in a discount store. The plates are heavy and the glazing is immaculate. There are subtle differences in each piece that makes the set even more interesting. These can be used everyday from pizza night with the family or a dinner party with guest. I plan on buying to add another set to my collection so that I can use it for Thanksgiving dinner with my family this year.
