Not thrilled
I thought this was the answer I was seeking. BUT: it is clumsy to open, needing both hands to securely clamp phone in place. It does not hold the phone upright; rather, it tilts the phone sideways on the steelie ball. Further, it adds too much weight to the ball, causing my phone to "slump" down low against my dash.

Solid mounting system
Holds all phones well. With my windshield mount, it does tend to start pointing the phone downward over time. Needs two hands to use. Mechanism isn’t complicated and likely won’t fail for a while; I’m about a month or so in.

Review of Steelie Squeeze Clamp
I have an older mount. It seems that the socket diameter is smaller than the older ball I have. This means the rubber (silicone) insert does not have the optimal contact area on the ball. This causes "droop" or slow position changes when driving especially over a bumpy road. I was considering putting a bead of silicone over the current insert. Also, the release levers are a little too short, but then again I have a big phone; a Samsung Galaxy S-21 Ultra 5g in a Samsung factory case with the pen holder on the side. That all said, I am very happy with the setup and the fact replacement parts are available.

Steelie Squeeze Clamp holder works great
I've owned the predecessor to the Squeeze clamp that worked okay, but not nearly as well as the Squeeze action. I have replaced both of my previous models with the Squeeze Clamp model. The clamp action is easy to use and adjust my phone up or down as needed. It securely holds my phone. I have no issue recommending it.

Steelie Squeeze Clamp
Product is an improvement over the old window attachment product. This one is very easy to use. The squeeze clips to attach the phone make sense and are much improved over the older version. I use it every day and it is simple and easy to clip my phone into the bracket. Release is just as easy, just squeeze the clips and its out.

I have a phone holder in each car. Husband didn’t want one , but I put one in when we drove a long trip. He realized how nice it was to have the phone were you could see it as he drove. Last phone clip died. He asked for a new one. He likes this one better. Says it is easy to use and holds his phone better.

The clamp is not long enough to stay securely attached to vent. Falls out 100% of the time. I am very disappointed.

Magnet is not strong enough to hold my phone up.
The clamp holds the phone securely. However the magnet does not hold the clamp in an upright position. Every slight bump in the road droops phone downwards such that the display of the phone on angle where the display is in readable. This is the second Steelie I have tried. I my opinion this design is worthless. I wish I could have my money back. Don’t buy this. It is a waste of money.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I had your previous version of this. The previous was better by far. It took 1 hand to operate and stayed where you put it. This new one requires two hands and about every 2 mins I have to push my phone back up.

Waste of money
Product does not work. Clamp and phone together are too heavy and will not hold phone upright. It was a waste of money.
