This is my FAVORITE makeup remover. EVER. A little goes a long way. I was tired of oily removers that you had to double rinse, or deal with residue, and tired of dragging wipes or cotton rounds constantly on my face, being rough with my skin. I needed something gentle and guys. It is so gentle on your skin and removes makeup so well, you only need to rinse or very gently wipe off. The product is smooth and works into a luxurious lather. This is hard to find now in stores. Clinique, please do not discontinue or phase out this product. So many of us love it!

the moment I lathered this product on my skin it was burning, it's been three days since I used it and I have a completely broken skin barrier. hot, red, itchy, flaky. I don't recommend anyone use this product.

better than any makeup wipe
this is my first time using any of Clinque's makeup removing products. As soon as I lathered the product, my make up came completely off with no residue or patches of makeup left. I am very pleasantly surprised at the strength as someone who uses alot of makeup on a daily. I will absolutely will be adding this to my everyday routine.

BURNS!!!
i got this as a free gift with purchase and was excited about using it to cleanse my skin. BUT..... the first time i used it just burned, burrned and is still burning 1/2 hour after washing it off. It has left a red rash across my cheek bones. I stupidly went ahead and put on my Turnaround Cream, and that is causing more burning. I hav e put A&K Emollient all over my face now (it's for)) diaper rash, and the burning is starting to go away. Maybe my skin is too sensitive. I'm searching for a cleanser now that will be very gentle on my face.

Best cleanser
I got this product in a bundle with some other products I enjoy. I was hesitant to use it because I am sensitive to a lot of products. This was so good at removing my makeup and left my skin soft and clean. So happy I found this cleanser. Will rotate in my night time skin care routine with another favorite cleanser I use.

An interesting idea that falls short of expectations.
I bought this expecting something that performed as well as the cleansing balm but this didn't fit the bill at all. It lacks both the makeup removal and the skin softening qualities of the balm. The texture is novel, but it leaves behind a waxy residue that needs to be removed with another face wash and so doesn't work as either the first or second step in a double cleanse.

Stings your eyes
I bought 2 of these when you withdrew my cleansing lotion It is awful. Tiny little notice saying" avoid eyes" difficult when rinsing it off! It is so thick, you have to wet your face before using it When I thought it was empty, I cut the tube open , and a weeks supply still in the tube. I like a simple cleansing lotion in a bottle I have used Clinique for 20 years, and like everything else

Takes off makeup but I would not purchase again
I was looking for a new facewash that specifically removes makeup. This lathers well, has a nice creamy texture, and a little goes a long way. It effectively removed my makeup, but it left my skin feeling dry/tight and stung my eyes pretty bad.

I've been using Clinique since my 20s, and typically don't wear too much makeup, but I do wear it. Any other cleansers aside from Acne foaming cleanser (I don't have acne, but have tried various products over the last 20 years) has caused a reaction in very sensitive skin I have. This stuff is WONDERFUL! I received this as a sample so tried it. You only need a couple drops on dampened hands, rub your hands briskly and you have a thick mound of foamy bubbles to wash your face with. Absolutely the best cleaner I've ever used!!

Wonderful! Makes me not look 58.
I bought this at Macy's Mall of America March 2025. This didn't hurt my sensitive skin. I don't put it on my eyes. Only use my Norwex makeup remover cloth with warm water on my eyes to remove Mascara and eyeliner. I've been using Clinique products for many years and really like them. After I use this I use the number 2 exfoliator toner, moisture surge and then moisture glow. I use almost powder foundation. I love Clinique products.
