FALSE ADVERTISING
the mermaids tail NEVER changed color! we tried cold and warm water, nothing happened. Then we tried hot water and ice cold water and NOTHING happened! this toy is an absolute scam and the color changing effects are FALSE advertising! it’s a very cute doll, but it should not advertise the tail is color changing, because it’s not.

The bottom part of the tail broke off quickly. Also in order to color change water must be very cold. Pool water didn't change it for us.

She’s only 3 so I like the tween versions of the Lol dolls because I feel like she has a better grip on them than normal dolls. I also find them to be fair in price compared to others. Plus not super small pieces because I don’t want her to choke. I love that it is color changing because she loves bringing dolls into the bath. Very cute and vibrant. She’s brushed the hair hard and it hasn’t come apart so I’m happy about that too!

Fantastic Doll
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll made my daughter day she is a huge fan of the lol dolls. She was super excited to see that L.O.L dolls had made mermaid ones because she been obsessed with mermaids for some years. I like that the quality of the packaging and doll is top notch, the accessories are a bit flimsy like the pearl belt thingy and the sunglasses but my daughter doesn’t mind that. Also the head crown doesn’t stay on that good but it’s not major concern to my daughter. The only thing my daughter kept mentioning was her hair was very crunchy hard in the front and the braids but she over that she really loves the doll. Overall this is a fantastic doll it’s tail changing colors in water and it stands up how awesome is that, lastly my daughter gives it two thumbs up.

I liked it because it came with instructions and its tail changes color when it is submerged in water. The only thing I didn't like was that its hair came attached and it still is, but after that everything is fine and my little girl is happy.

My daughter was thrilled
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is obsessed with this doll! I love that it can actually stand up on its tail. I docked a star for a couple issues. The first is some of the hair is crunchy, im sure that is to keep the hair style intact but it feels weird to touch. The second is the accessories don't stay on well. The belt falls off constantly and the headband falls off half the time. Other than that, wonderful toy.

It does stand up on its tail but is kinda hunched over. Also it has to be ICE water to change colors which makes not a lot of sense because you’d want to use it in the pool or tub…
