Although this doll is cute I do not suggest buying it! I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and the powdered dye has glitter in it. After dying her clothes and hair and allowing her to dry the glitter is everywhere! Do not buy!

Disappointed
Does not color well. The powder is light that it takes a lot to get a tint of color. The powder is hard to get out as well. The concept of this doll is great and my 5 year old daughter was excited to get her because of a commercial on TV. She will still play with doll but is disappointed that the color is not really showing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool concept for a doll!! The little shakers for colors?! BRILLIANT! I love that it’s a great way to store the extra powder without having to worry about baggies or spillage, and I’m glad they’re not markers like most DIY dolls. My daughter had an absolute blast making her colorful! She needs to be a bit more heavy handed, but I’m sure with practice she’ll make her masterpiece!

Hard to set up with disappointing pale colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the packaging for this doll took a solid 15 minutes of work to get everything out and set up. My daughter impatiently waited the entire time. The included instructions were VERY hard to read and understand (tiny print and poor directions). Once finally set up, we were disappointed that the colors were so light and not at all like shown on the package. We kept adding more and more powder to intensify the colors but they stayed pale. The tie dye on the shirt with the included rubber bands was almost impossible to recreate. The positive is that doll itself is high quality and my daughter will play with her. Even though this toy can be washed and re-dyed, this is a one time craft for us

Rainbow High Tye Dye Doll
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rainbow High watercolor doll is really neat. It is made well and seems like it will hold up to play for a long time. The joints bend seamlessly and hair is soft and shiny. It comes with a blank slate of white hair and outfit with 5 different colors that allow you to dye/design the doll yourself. You can also use the dye on human hair. This is a great choice for a creative child. The color dye is washable and comes with a sponge wand for application. The doll has big head, large eyes, long lashes— kind of like a new age brats doll. It is similar in size to Barbie so your little one could play with them together.

Great concept, terrible execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is adorable and the general idea of this doll was great but execution was not. It takes a ton of the color powder to get any type of coloring payoff. My daughter sat at the table for over an hour trying to color the dolls clothing, shoes and hair. It took forever for any of the color to deposit on the items. Definitely would not purchase this doll in the future.

But I did have a little trouble dying the shoes with my daughter. For some reason, the shoes could not take the color of the dye. But overall, it’s a great doll and it’s such a fun project to do .
