Looks dirty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug is okay. When we opened it, it looked dirty. There were pieces of dirt and specks all over the rug. I vacuumed it, which helped, but there are still some discolored areas (blue, pink) and the color is like a dirty ivory. The rug does not look new.

The fibers are itchy, laid down on it, and I got a rash on my back. The fibers shed everywhere. Its clogs my vacuum.

Sheds like mad

I've had the ivory one for more than 6 months now and it won't stop shedding. I'm tired of it being on all our clothes and couches. Yes, it's beautiful, but I have to replace it.

Fits our space perfectly

This rug shipped very fast and fits our space perfectly. We ordered the 9x12 in ivory for our den - I love the color and the subtle stripes add great texture to the room. It has shed a bit, but most wool rugs do and it's a simple vacuuming clean up.*received an incentive for the review

apocalyptic levels of shedding

The rug is beautiful.But I can't keep up with the amount of debris this rug sheds. There are tumble weeds of rug fibers in every corner of my house, rug fibers on my clothes, and rug fibers in my food. I don't know if we walk/play on it too much... but silly me for expecting to live in my house. If I could go back in time, I would stop myself from purchasing.

Soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging and shipping wasn’t the greatest. It didn’t arrive rolled so it was folded. The plastic wrapping had a hole and the rug was soiled at the hole during shipping. The vacuum got most of it up but this rug is ivory so there is still a blemish. The rug is thick and soft and doesn’t need a rug pad. It lays out flat and relaxes well. Corners stay flat. I emptied the vacuum cartridge 3 times during first vacuum. Strong wool smell so it takes a few days with a couple of fans to air it out. This West Elm lookalike saved me a lot of money. Good price.

Do not buy - sheds like crazy!

I have had this rug for almost a year now, and while it’s beautiful, my biggest complaint is that sheds sooooo much! Fibers get pulled up constantly and settle everywhere in the living room. It’s like I have a white dog shedding in the house (I have a black poodle who doesn’t shed). Avoid at all costs!
