Perfect Brownies
This is the most delicious gluten-free recipe. I love it. I do replace the oil with apples sauce because I don’t tolerate oils very well. They gave me the same symptoms as gluten. If you need to be egg free, you can use an egg substitute. I also add nuts as I like the added protein.

Taste
Honestly I didn’t expect much. Gluten-free baked goods have a weird texture but these brownies completely surprised me. They are rich with fudge and very close to the classic brownie mix. If you have someone in your family who needs to avoid gluten this is an easy way to make a dessert everyone can enjoy.

Not Good
Unfortunately these are one of the worst brownies I've ever tasted. I'm new to gluten free and was craving a rich brownie. These smelled good as they were baking and I was excited to try them. The taste is strange and leaves an aftertaste too - I had a few bites, tried again a bit later, then tossed the rest in the trash. I would never buy again.

I reacted as if I'd had gluten.
I am gluten intolerant. I made the gluten free brownies a few days ago. I consumed one brownie the same day and was later sick with symptoms of gluten. I was better by the next day and thinking it had to be something else that caused the pain, I had a small piece and was sick again. I tried a small bite the third day and had pain as if I'd had gluten. What is in the mix that could cause this?

SO AMAZING!!!!
The absolute best brownie mix. My family eats gluten free & this is the only brand we buy for brownies. I also make these as a crust for my cheesecake that I sell at my restaurant. Delicious

Excellent fudgy brownie
Excellent fudgy brownie. I made these for a friend with a gluten allergy. I also made a pan of regular brownies and we all preferred the GF brownies. There's one caveat these brownies do not reheat well. I microwaved one for 15 seconds and it changed it to a weird texture. Overall these are excellent just don't microwave them.

Excellent product, terrible price
This is an excellent product… hard to find sugar free baked goods that have good texture & are on par flavor wise with regular cane sugar desserts. Product is excellent in taste & texture. I can’t tell the difference between these & the sugar kind but this price is 3 times what it costs in grocery stores.

The Best Brownies on the Planet!
One of my six grandchildren has celiac disease, and I try to bake gluten free for everyone in the family whenever possible so he doesn't always have to eat something different from the rest of us. He's only 6 and a real trooper about what he can't have, but I know it's hard for him sometimes. These brownies are my go-to, and in fact I have started buying them exclusively because even when I don't have guests who need gluten-free desserts they are simply the most delicious and chocolately brownies around!!! 4 starts instead of 5 for value, only because all gluten free food is more expensive. Krusteaz gluten-free products are usually more economical than many other brands, and they offer a good variety of products.

The Best Brownie Mix!
Out of all the brownie mixes available on the market, Krusteaz Gluten Free Double Chocolate brownies ranks highest on my list. My entire family agrees and they ask me to make them often for get togethers. You cannot tell that they are gluten free. The flavor is decadent and texture outstanding.

Great foundation for a vegan brownie
Due to allergies I bake vegan and gluten free. It’s hard to bake a good brownie with those limitations. I’ve tried all kinds of substitutes and scratch recipes. Two of the better brownies are made with this gf brownie mix as the base. Version 1 turned out very oily and never really firmed up, but it was tasty nevertheless. That was made as per the box directions but I substituted the egg with applesauce and a 1/4 tsp baking powder. I don’t recommend doing that unless you like oily desserts. Next version is my new favorite! It was made with 1 cup of hot coffee, 1 15 oz can of drained and rinsed black beans, 1 cup vegan choc chips and pecans to go on top. Blend half the coffee and half the choc chips with the beans in a food processor until it looks smooth. Add half of the brownie mix and process to blend it in. Add remaining mix, choc chips and coffee and blend until dry mix looks incorporated. Trust that the little lumps you see are the chips! Bake in greased muffin tins for 25 mins at 350. I used light olive oil. I got 18 treats out of this batch and sprinkled pecans in them prior to baking. Let them cool 30 mins in the pan before serving if storing in an airtight container. Mine were easy to remove with a silicone spatula. They held their little dome shape after cooling and had the softest, smoothest texture. You can’t taste the beans at all.

Awesome super chocolatey brownies!
Being a person who loves baked goods and being diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity, I was so happy to find that these brownies are perfect. No gritty texture like with some brands. There is no way to tell that these are gluten free!

Was not very good
Tried these double chocolate brownies today. I was disappointed in how it tasted. Very chalky tasting and very bad after taste. I am not a picky eater and I do not like to throw food away. I will have to say I had to put them in the trash.

I have made these several times and they are a crowd pleaser for both the gluten-free crowd and those who are not.
