Damaged shipment of my ordered item
Item(non-stick frying pan) arrived dented on 1 edge of upper rim and shipping box appears to have been crushed and/or dropped in area where dented edge of pan rested inside box. Would like pan replaced and shipped with proper cushioning in packaging.

A pan you will love for many years
I have been using this pan for about 5 years. The nonstick quality still remains effective, but I don't mistreat my cookware. A little water left int he pan for a short time helps remove any "stubborn" cling-ons. I just found out that there are no chemicals to worry about leaching into my food because the process of anodizing the aluminum makes the pan nonstick without chemical additives. Yay! If you are considering purchasing this pan, you won't be disapppointed when you do.

Disappointing
I bought this pan in April and liked it at first, but the quality has went downhill. After eight months of gentle use with hand washing the non stick seems to be wearing away, and food is starting to stick, which in the past didn't happen with my Calphalon pans. The price went up too, so I will be changing brands, unfortunately.

Extremely Disappointing
This pan is extremely lightweight and is cheaply made. For example, the metal is wafer thin and the handle is too hot to touch on medium stovetop heat. It’s extremely disappointing that Calphalon is no longer a high quality brand.

Heating handles over gas cook top
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pan is ligjter in weight but the handles are prone to heating more that the heavier pans. We use a gas cook top and never had hot handles with the previous heavier calphalon pots and pans. On this larger pan, it is a fair trade, but the same is truw with the smaller, lighter pots and pans. I would rather have small pots and pans that are heavier with handles that stay cool over a gas cook top.

Not as heavy to handle
I have been using Calphalon for over 30 years and have many pans in different sizes including pasta inserts and lids. I am replacing a large non stick coated frying pan as the non stick is beginning to age. The replacement pan I ordered is lighter which is a plus since now I am old and the pans get heavy haha! Will be 75 soon and visit the gym to keep up my pan strength!

Outstanding Pans
The anodized finish is hardy. We have tried many non-stick gimmicks that are trashed easily. We have 15 year old anondized pans that are used regularly and are still working well. This will be our standard going forth.

a fine skillet
I was surprised at how thin walled this skillet is. I bought it to replace an old one, which was sturdier and slightly heavier. Otherwise it seems to be fine, and hey, the benefit of being lighter weight is a plus, I guess.

Lost value
If you are replacing an old Calphalon pan with a new one, you will be disappointed. The metal thickness of the pan is at least 50% thinner than the old one, and the metal handle is pressed sheet metal that conduct lots of heat. The cost has gone up for an inferior pan.

Durable nonstick pan
