Altec Lansing HydraTrek Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker

For the price this speaker isn't bad at all. It serves the purpose for what I needed outside by the fire pit. It's clear and it took a charge fine.

I was incorrectly charged for this item. The sale tag said 9.98. I paid 19.99

I guess for $20- you get what you paid for. I wanted a small speaker for my shower but maybe the one I bought was defective because it randomly cuts off even when it’s not dying and doesn’t get loud. It also dies extremely fast

Easy to set up. Sound ok . Use it in the shower for news .

The speaker was ok, paired easily to my phone. The one issue I had was the mount for the bike handle bars. There is what you call a PEM nut that is inserted into the bottom of the speaker that the bike mount screw, screws into. Unfortunately this PEM nut spins as is does not hold well into the plastic construction of the speaker. This makes for a loose attachment of the speaker. I removed the nut and tried to glue it back in position but that did not solve the issue. I'll probably figure something out to get better securement, but they need to redesign how that nut is held in the speaker. A hex nut would be better as that would resist spinning better.

Buy two if you can! This speaker sounds great for 20 dollars, but it's is even better with two paired in stereo. Well worth $40.

Have open it, for a Christmas gift Not too big, but that reason to buy for space saving. Nice stocking stuffer Purple and teal

It’s easy to connect to by Bluetooth, easy to navigate, and has a long battery life! It’s also magnetic so I can just stick it to the fridge. It’s also waterproof! Love this, thank you Influenster!

The magnetic feature was a nice surprise. It securely sticks to metal surfaces. Connecting it to my phone was easy. The speaker is very powerful, loud and clear. The battery also lasts well. I recently took it out for a beach day, and was pleasantly surprised at the capacity of this speaker. Obviously, it doesn’t do well with heavy bass, but it is small, and easy to mount in various places with a decent projection. It’s not the cutest portable speaker on the market, but it is very functional and I will continue to use it on outings. I think it would also be great as a shower speaker.
