Immi Roasted 'Pork' Tonkotsu Plant Based Ramen Cup - 2oz

This is not the answer to vegan high protein ramen. Broth smells and tastes like stomach acid after throwing up. The noodles are hard. I’ll eat 3 blocks of tofu plain for protein over this any day!

The noodles are savory but tough even after further cooking. The broth tastes and smells strange. Left me thinking, 'what did i just eat' bring a pallet cleanser.

First time trying these and read one review for the chicken, recommending to make your own sauce. The chicken one definitely had a taste that is hit or mostly miss. This time I tried it with making a creamy garlic broth--the noodle texture is definitely not the same, but omg using your own broth definitely makes all the difference!!!

The only people who might like this are people who only care about macros and don’t care about food tasting good. Smells awful too.

The noodles never got soft even when I let them sit longer in the boiling water. The texture and flavor of the noodles was unappealing and the broth was awful. I was so excited about the macros on this but their not worth the lack of flavors.

This is literally the worst ramen I have ever had. Like, EVER. The WORST. I keep trying to eat it because I don't want to waste the packages I have, but I just can't choke it down. The noodles are like thick hard plastic, and the seasoning has no flavor. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Plant based high protein lower carb. I liked the Creamy Chicken the best. Put soft boiled egg on top.

I’m not a harsh critic but oh man I DONT recommend. The smell… I haven’t smelled something that bad in a while I thought it was expired but it’s not. The water turned this into this off putting brown color the noodles wouldn’t cook. So bland and I can’t get past the smell. It is inedible

Knew what I was buying when I decided to try these. But holy moly, the smell made me want to spit up. The taste was so bland, so I added some chicken bouillon -- defeats the low sodium, but it was the only way I could tolerate to eat this. I get the concept, but I'm likely not going to buy again.

Opted to give this a review because all of the 1 star reviews appear to be from people who were completely unaware of what this product is. It is a high fiber and high protein and lower (not LOW though) sodium ramen. For what it is it is VERY good. I think the broth is quite tasty, it brings in a lot of flavors to compensate for the lessened sodium. The noodles absolutely have an odd texture, and if that puts you off of it I cannot blame you. However, they are substantial and filling. Complaining that this doesn't taste like high qaulity ramen is like complaining that a protein shake doesn't taste like something from a malt shop.

Not flavorful has a almost chemical smell to it

Delicious, it is not like regular Ramen, but a much healthier option that I enjoy! Add some veggies and its an incredible 5 minute dish.

The nastiest noodles I’ve ever ate :( waste of money

This is an insult to ramen, it's so bad. It smells bad and tastes nothing like ramen. I bought this for lunch today and I only ate one bite. Both the broth and noddle are gross!!!

I bought these on accident not seeing the quotations around pork, and once I realized they're vegan I was worried about the flavor, but figured I'd try anyway since ramen noodles are already vegan. First off, there was little flavor aside from what I could only really describe as what I think the dirty mop water after cleaning a high school boy's changing room floor after gym class would taste like, and secondly I was not ready for the texture. It's unlike anything I've ever had, and that's for good reason. Wet cardboard sounds more appealing. I didn't even swallow a single bite, I just reacted like those videos of dogs eating lemons. I immediately checked the ingredients because I knew the noodles had to be non-grain based, and yes, at the expense of carbs, grain is replaced with pea protein. That's all you really need to know.
