I've been using the 30 spf for a couple years with no issues. My only complaint is with makeup, my mascara can run a tad at the end of the day. I just saw the 50 spf in stores the other day and thought I'd try it and it's awful. My skin looks and feels like I have rosacea. Totally red, inflamed, textured to the touch. Now I'm going to have to go without anything for awhile (on hottest week of the year) and hope it recovers.

The combination is just right. A nice creamy feel that absorbs into my skin with the added bonus and of being a sunscreen without the additional step! It also works well with my makeup. A win all around. I don't usually buy things twice, but this one I will buy when I run out because it feels so good!

I am someone with very sensitive and reactive skin who also can not use any fragrances, natural or otherwise and cerave has never irritated my skin. When I saw cerave am moisturizing lotion now comes in spf 50 I was thrilled. This lotion is truly the best. It never breaks me out or causes my eyes to sting like other spf's, it also isn't greasy and works great under makeup which are two absolute musts. This is a product I will have around forever, #iagreeCerave is the GOAT! I have and will continue to recommend Cerave products to friends and family because i know how great they are, I use many products myself and have got friends and family hooked on products too, they're just that great!!

I highly recommend this moisturizer. It goes on smoothly and blends in easily. I use it first thing in the morning after I shower. The SPF 50 has prevented my face and neck from burning since the first day I used the moisturizer. I'm an extremely fair redhead prone sunburns the second I step outside, but no more. The effects last a long time too. If I hadn't already purchased this before I got the sample from Cerave, I'd go straight to the store and buy it!
This lotion is very soothing on my fair dry skin!

I’m normal on my cheeks, but oily on my T-zone. This is perfect for non-makeup days or when my face feels a little drier, but because of my oily parts, I prefer the ultra-light SPF lotion for makeup days. Definitely would recommend. Another winner from Cerave!

I like how this feels on my face. For me, if I am wearing my Laura Geller liquid foundation, I don’t wait for this lotion to “dry down” as my foundation blends better. If I am wearing the LG powder foundation, then I like to wait about 20 minutes. I like that this has an spf of 50. I don’t spend a lot of time outside, but I like knowing that I am protecting my face skin. I am very fair with blue eyes and my dermatologist recommended this to me at my last appointment. (Ps. I am reviewing a product that I purchased myself.)

Accidentally purchased instead of the regular SPF30 version and I am extremely disappointed. It has a bad smell and feels greasy.

This product didn’t help me a lot. As a brown skin girl it leaves after application a white film making my skin gray very uncomfortable and since 2 months of use haven’t seen great moisturizing effect. You really have to work on that cerave. with all the reviews… no disappointed
