Fan-shaped holes, no fan

Heat dissipation is a bit of a stretch. This is clearly a knockoff of a similar product on other sites that has a built in fan, but this has “fan shaped holes.” I have that one in my office and bought this one for my home, thinking it was the same product. In addition to the missing fan, the quality is also generally worse, but the price is the same.

Cheap as can be, don’t waste your money.

Cheap as can be. Desperately needs sandpaper on every corner except the top— tons of opportunity to get a splinter. Has a weird dirty feeling texture on the top. The hinge on mine also bent after one use, so now it doesn’t close flush.

Love it!

I absolutely adore this it’s so cute and super functional plenary of room to write and work from! The drawer isn’t big enough for a pen or marker but it could hold paper clips or something of that nature (I didn’t plan to use it for storage anyways) but it’s literally perfect everywhere else!

Good idea but flawed

I npmade good use of this lap table. I liked the height adjustment, but it didn't always stay where I set it. The hinged top fit against the stationary part of the top very tightly. The support holding could come undone easily if you moved the lap table and slam down on your fingers. And finally, after using the lap table for a couple of months, one of the hinges bent and now it won't close to a completely level surface. Width overall is good, adjustability range is good, but needs better ways of holding settings in place securely.

Needs slow close mechanism

I have 2 stars because I really enjoy the appearance of the item and it appears to be constructed with quality materials. However, the safety aspect of the design is not up to par for me. It feels like a mouse trap the size of a human hand. Unfortunately, I have accidentally caught my fingers in the laptop device elevation feature multiple times. It could really benefit from a slow close mechanism.

Poor quality.

This product is not made well. The drawer is glued and has tiny nails crooked and fell apart soon after opening. It has a metal piece beneath to hold the laptop up and that doesn’t fit well. For the price I am unhappy with it but was too busy to return it. I’m disappointed with the purchase.

Good if you want to work flat

It’s sturdy and easy to assemble. The only issue is the wire meant to hold the slop is almost a bit too big for the slots, so it’s a bit unsteady.

Falls apart, cracked, awful quality

The wood is split and they still sold it that way and tried to cover it with a bad glob of glue… draw gets stuck and wont pull out. Overall bad quality wood. Tightener fell off. Definitely feels like a good find at goodwill but otherwise terrible money spent anywhere else. They definitely lied on their msrp… not worth 100$ not even the 30$ i spent “on sale”. This is a vendor not target itself remember so these things can be swayed. And they can sell crappy items. I know better now not to buy from them.

Good for college students/working from home.

Overall I like this bed tray and do see myself putting it to use. The only couple issues are 1, it scratches very easily. I don’t use it too often and it’s already 10% scratched, but I also don’t mind whether or not it has scratches. 2, it came with one of the wooden legs split because the screw was done too tightly. A little bit of wood glue and some rubber bands fixed it up though. 3, I am a little worried about how long it will last. It does feel sturdy, but I am worried it may crack if I accidentally drop it.
