Terrible ! Literally only used once before it jammed

This was the worst item. My son bought this for himself and it jammed within 5 min of playtime and snapped the internal piece that brings the ammo into the barrel. Absolutely terrible product.

Not a toy for younger kids. This thing shoots quite hard. I would only recommend it for older kids/teens.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and my husband ended up kind of taking several turns with it too. I should have bought him one. I would advise however it’s got a pretty good spring in it for shooting. The small nerf like bullets really quite hurt when your shot and can leave welts. So I would advise to not give to a younger child unless they understand not shooting people. My son and husband are old enough it worked out fine, but younger kids would probably really struggle with how much it hurts.

Don’t not get for any child under 10 & don’t let them x shot you because it leaves a huge welt and it hurts this should be labeled a paint ball toy gun tbh

This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to foam blasters! At worst, it’s a reload kit, that includes a 15 round magazine with 40 darts, that just so happens to include a blaster as well

I bought two of these on sale as my first half-length pro blasters. People refer to the Fury X as a refill pack with a free blaster for good reason - even after the tariff price increases, this blaster is still a competitive purchase with immense value. Its direct competition is the Dart Zone Aeon Pro X, currently at 25 dollars, so here are some points for consideration as to whether or not the Fury X is a good fit for you. Fury X pros: 1: Tons of extra darts included with a respectable 15 dart mag 2: Easy to open for mods and maintenance 3: Ambidextrous magazine release 4: Performance ranges from 120-150 FPS as advertised 5: Decently accurate at stock performance 6: Compatible with Dart Zone PCAR and BCAR rifling attachments 7: Compatible with most standard half-length magazines 8: Aesthetically pleasing with an ergonomic bullpup design Fury X cons (TL;DR: it has QC issues but is tinker-friendly): 1: For some units, the dart pusher can damage darts with regular use due to the magazine sitting too high and tilted forward. This can be mostly fixed with some trial and error. Fixes can be found at r/Nerf on Reddit. 2: The dart pusher o-ring can be insufficiently lubricated on some units, causing it to drag, get pinched, and eventually break - leading to a poor seal and worsened performance. I had to replace this o-ring on one of my blasters already. A 9.8mm ID x 2.4mm CS nitrile o-ring & silicone grease recommended for this fix; I got my o-ring in a set from Harbor Freight for about 5 dollars. 3: Blaster's mag catches can be picky with aftermarket magazines, causing some talon-style magazines to fall out when bumped. Can be fixed by reinforcing or upgrading mag catch springs. 4: Slightly lower FPS & accuracy at stock performance when compared to the Aeon Pro X. 5: The Fury X performs better with Dart Zone ember darts than with the included X-Shot Air Pocket darts. Additionally, ember darts perform better with PCAR attachments and are more durable than the included darts. 6: Fury X does not come with eye protection, a spare o-ring, or a rifling attachment, unlike the Aeon Pro X. The cost to acquire these accessories separately for the Fury X exceeds the cost of the Aeon Pro X. Add at least 2 dollars for impact-rated eye protection if you don't already have some, as eye pro is 100% necessary at this performance level. Neutral comments: -Some people complain that the decorative rivets on the grip cause discomfort, but I did not experience this issue. Such decorative textures can be filed or sanded down as needed. -Getting shot in the face, neck, ears, or joints by half-length darts above 100 FPS is quite unpleasant and can easily leave welts. If you are buying this for children or for teens/adults with low pain tolerance, you will want to encourage them to wear thicker clothes and face shields IN ADDITION to impact-rated eye protection, or opt for using weaker blasters altogether.

The Pro Fury-X is a great entry blaster. It has everything you need to get started right out of the box for $15. Standard magazine well compatibility makes acquiring more magazines a breeze. If you’re interested in the foam flinging hobby, do yourself a favor and pick this up!

This is an awesome toy gun! The first time I shot it I was in love. My kids are big into Nerf gun wars and I needed one for the fight so this is easily my weapon of choice. I can see why this is rated 14+ though. Definitely not one for a young beginner but I highly recommend it for a teen or kid who knows not to aim for a face cause this. will. hurt.
