[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when I started assemblingthe lamp becauseit is absolutely beautiful. The aged bronze finish looks very high quality. The base is quite heavy which would keep this lamp from being top heavy. I love the foot pedal control to turn the lamp on and off. The cord is quite ling which makes it great for areas away from a wall plug. The reason I gave this lamp only 3 stars is due to the actual quality of the pole. Once it was being assembled I found the bottom sectionwill not tighten. This defect leaves the lamp wobbly. If you try to lift the lamp the bottom section lifts out of the base. It is not supposed to do that. It is threaded and is supposedto be steady and secure. If it were not for this structural issue this would be a 5 star product.

But once it was put together and I saw how the bronze and gold worked together, it’s beautiful. Love the addition. Don’t get scared at the gold inside. It really does work.
