Q: Is this supposed to be a tension rod? I ordered one and there’s no tension spring inside, just a piece of plastic. It doesn’t twist well one way or the other.

Doesn’t stay up. Rod will not lock into place and falls frequently. No amount of twisting or placement will make the rod hold. Very disappointed.

Cblew- Sorry for your trouble. It sounds like you are over twisting the rod set, causing it to fall apart. When properly setup and installed per the instructions, there is only a couple of twists necessary for a very strong hold. It is important the setup instructions be followed closely, and once done, the rod mechanism was designed to be among the strongest in the market. Please reference our videos on the website for extra assistance.

All the twisting did not work. And yes, I saw the video. Not very helpful. It's been sitting in the closet. Trying to come up with ideas on what else I can use it for. I keep twisting to tighten it, and it never gets to a point where it is even slightly tight. I cannot use it for its intended purpose.

This shower rod is gold and amps up the style in our bathroom. Our shower door needed replacement, This rod is so classy, I’m just going to take the door down and use this rod with a curtain. It’s just the right width for our 40” shower stall with room to grow if we ever need it some place else.

I have this shower rod for about 3 months. When I first bought it, it had zero reviews, so I took a risk. So far the rod has held up well and the gold hasn’t come off or anything. It’s tight and stays put so I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about.
