    Nice looking but won't last

    It is my fault for not looking more closely, but 18/0 is not really stainless steel. It stains and rusts immediately, unlike 18/8 or 18/10. This flatware looks wonderful and feels good, but it's just steel and as such will not last. I am lucky that I bought it from another site and paid much less. If I had paid full price, I would be very upset. Make sure you pay attention to the label... do NOT buy 18/0 flatware if you want it to last. (which unfortunately means do not buy this no matter how good it looks). It seems like Mikasa is making more of the 18/0 over time, so it appears it may be time to start looking at other brands, which is too bad as I've been using it for over a decade.

    Excellent silverware. The shape and weight feels good in your hand. Very well made. The only issue I have, is there is not enough serving pieces offered for this pattern.

    Very pleased with this set!

    Flatware pieces are nicely balanced, good weight, and lovely, graceful design. No problems with cleaning either, product is very well made. I couldn't be more pleased! My only wish is that open stock were available - I would like to have extra spoons for desserts, extra salad forks also.
