A: Mirabella, Despite what the manufacturer's representative has suggested, assembling this cabinet without the two back panels should not be done under most circumstances. Assembly without the back panel will cause the entire cabinet to be very unstable, and likely to collapse, resulting in tearing out of the hardware and ruining the cabinet. If you absolutely need to omit the back panel, I suggest adding some substantial corner brackets in all four corners as well as to reinforce the attachment of the shelf to the sides.
