I’ve been using the Odele Thickening Shampoo for about three weeks, and I’m really impressed! I love the natural fragrance—it’s fresh without being overpowering. The shampoo lathers beautifully, and I don’t need to use much for it to be effective. After a few weeks, my hair actually feels and looks thicker, with more volume and body. Do not recommend for fine hair
This shampoo does not work on fine hair like it says it does. It left a residue on my hair that felt like it couldn't be washed out and by the end of the day my virgin undied and usually shiny hair looked like straw.

No for me.
I bought this one because they were out of the volumizing shampoo one I usually get. Used it for about two weeks & it left my hair feeling stringy. I also noticed much more hair shedding than normal. So I stopped using it & back to my normal Volume shampoo & Smoothing conditioner from same brand & after a few weeks it was fine again. Will not buy this one again.

Left a residue
I had really high hopes for the thickening shampoo and conditioner and was sadly very disappointed. It left a really bad residue on my hair. My hair was left stiff, dry and heavy feeling. I love for my shampoo and conditioner to make my hair soft and flowy but this did the exact opposite. And I know it says there is no artificial fragrance but it smells strong and caused me a headache.

Left my hair so so dry I stopped using it after 2 uses I thought maybe I was overthinking but my hair felt like hay ): stopped using it and went back to OGX and my hair feels so much better

residue left on hair?
I got the thickening shampoo and conditioner and for some reason it's leaving a residue on my hair. Almost feels waxy? I was wondering if anyone else had this happen? Or what it means? It doesn't feel bad, just curious as to why!

Thanks for giving this product a try! All Odele products are free from SLES + SLS sulfates, and as a result, our shampoos may not lather as much (or in the same way) as you are used to. That being said, all our shampoos (except for our Curl Defining No-Lather Shampoo) have a luxurious lather when used correctly. For the best results, we recommend rubbing the shampoo in your hands, adding water until you get a nice lather, then applying it to sopping wet hair. Give this a try and let us know if it changes the feeling on your hair!
