OMIEBox UP Bento Box with Thermos Food Jar 2 Compartments and Ice Pack - Purple

It's not a good lunchbox... rubber is dumb because it doesn't even stay on correctly.

I’ve tried more lunchboxes than I can count over the years, and the OmieBox UP is the first one that truly feels designed by people who understand what packing lunch for kids is actually like. The biggest win for me is how flexible the compartments are. Unlike traditional bento boxes that force you into fixed sections, the OmieBox UP lets you adjust the space depending on what you're packing. The leakproof design is also excellent. Yogurt, dips, fruit, or pasta salads stay contained without turning the entire lunchbox into a mess. I also really appreciate how sturdy everything feels. The latches are easy enough for kids to open on their own but still secure enough that the box stays closed in a backpack all day. Another standout feature is how thoughtfully sized it is. It fits a full, balanced lunch. Cleaning is also straightforward. The removable tray makes it easy to rinse or wash thoroughly, and the materials feel durable enough to last through years of daily use. The thermos keeps things warm for at least 4 hours! And the built-in ice pack is pretty awesome too. This one is absolutely worth it.

Recently purchased for my 7 -soon to be 8 yo- to take to school. She loves warm meals and it has been nice to give her that option too. The thermos does its job if you preheat it as suggested, which was the main reason we bought it. I do wish however the ice pack stayed frozen a bit longer and that the company eventually offer a stainless steel box (vs plastic one day). And a handle on the UP would be nice too! But overall, we are happy with our purchase and would recommend to others.

I wanted to love this box but somehow it just doesn’t fit as much food as the original lunchbox. And there is no handle like the original one, so it’s hard for my son to carry. I thought maybe he could use the silverware pod as a handle but that doesn’t stay on. We might have to go back to using the original lunchbox!

I move this brand lunch box, but this is my first in this style. I don’t like how the silicone divider doesn’t really feel in the lunch box. It falls out so easily. Other than that, love the design.

Love the larger size. Love that no parts can collect mold. Also love the fact that there is a cold and hot compartment available.

I bought the omie up in Blue. The colors are great and the food stays hot until lunch. My son is 8 and this is the perfect size for him. Recommend

I bought this and had high hopes that it would be as easy to use, durable, nd convenient as the original Omie Boxes I've been using for years now and recommended to many others. Unfortunately, it is not very functional or kid-friendly at all. There isn't even a handle on it and in order to fit utensils inside (rather than buying a whole separate attchment that hooks on and hangs from the outside of the box), you have to take the whole sectional insert out and there's barely any room for anything else. If you have to end up putting the Omie Box into a soft shell lunchbox anyway, there's no point in spending your money on this.

I have the original Omie box for many years. I recently saw this new size at my kids’ school and a little 3 year old had it so I came to see what the new model was. Surprised to see it’s for 9 and up. I did the math on the measur and it’s actually a smaller total volume than the younger kids one. Won’t be buying it for my big kid.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter and i have zero regrets. best lunch box ever !!!!! she love it !!!!

Food leaked from day one. Whole reason I spent so much on these was so that they wouldn’t leak!

I wanted to love this lunchbox but unfortunately my son says the food is still cold.

The narrow shape of this lunchbox is awkward. It has a bigger insulated cup but the sides compartment is too small. I bought this for my teenager in high school but I can’t fit enough foodi usually add a vegetable and a fruit side but the compartment in this lunchbox is toddler size. We don’t eat big food portions but this is too small regardless. It fits odd in lunchbox cases

Unfortunately it’s not very practical. Not a lot of space to work with, only one little ice pack for one side that does not last long- so I can’t reuse any food that may not have been eaten. I also can’t chill any sandwiches. It is also very heavy on back pack. I would not recommend and wish I could return.

I do love the idea of this lunch box where you can switch between a thermal and just an empty space for just dry stuff or a sandwich! It does what its suppose to. So I am really glad i have this option.
