NICE LAMP, POOR EXCUSE FOR SHADES
The lamp is nice and easy to assemble. I bought two, and both shades we're wrinkled to the point of unacceptable appearance. Brightech was very cooperative and comped me so I could buy different shades. I am happy with the outcome.

A fine lamp
I needed ambient lighting for my living room, the Lucas floor lamp does the job. It’s the right height for my sofa and favorite reading chair. Ordering, shipping and assembly were super easy and swift. The light really warms up the room. I recommend this lamp.

Although I was not impressed with the actual colour of the shade as not really suit my style and the atmosphere tht I wastrying to create , I still think it is worth what I paid for it. The Lucas lamp is even energy saving with its LED bulb .

I was amazed that such a compact package contained everything I needed to build an entire floor lamp.As I did not think the shade was suitable for the lamp , I chose another inexpensive lamp shade and used that one instead. It is simply because of the initial shade and itsvisible velcro join , that I am giving this lamp a 4 star rating. I am now very excited about my lamp .

The lamp was delivered in excellent condition . It was actually unbelievable the thought behind its delivery . The lampshade had to be unravelled and is a brilliant concept , how it attches so easily to the frame of the lamp. The parts were made so they all fit well and the lamp can be built quickly.

Compliments to Brightech for the lighting they offer in their range. We are so attached to our lamp , as it is a wnderful purchase . The Lucas lamp has a strong base and the entire design has been clverly thought out and is made accordingly. My husband who has the same favourable opinion of the lamp wanted to order another but , we could not find any more of these lamps online. We think they have stopped making this lamp. If Brightech reinroduce this lamp , we would definitely anytime endorse it.

It is excellent that we did not have to put in a lot of effort to make it. We managed to build it and without reference even to the directions. The velcro seam on the shade is an issue if the entire perimeter of the lamp can be seen from all directions. You need to ensure the lamp is placed somewhere that does not expose the seam. Besides the shade lacking in quality , it is a srong lamp due to its substantial base and it has a lovely wooden appearance. What arobust lamp and in its entirety ,its appearance is fabulous.

The manner in which this lamp came wrapped and delivered was ideal for the fragile nature of the product. The strength of light is quite satisfactory but the LED bulb which was also in the delivery was a great extra. I however,chose to use the bulb in another lamp and to get a brighter bulb for this lamp. The precise instructions were also an immense advantage.

Although the shade is not a highlight as it is a very ordinary , basic colour , the lamp itself is very striking and you can change the shade if so desired. The quality of the shade is as light issue as there is a join which is visible , upon completing it but , the lamp can be placed so as to cover up the join . It is actually an uncomplicated and streamlined lamp , which hs a stable structure. all in all , it is an outstanding product.

This has a fashionable look to it. From its timeous delivery to the manner in which the lamp was delivered ,I have no complaints. It is exceptionally easy to build. . I do feel the outer fabric and plastic inner of the shade is not ideal but it is still appealing to look at . If the shade is a real issue , you can alter the design a bit by choosing an alternate shade. I am so happy with my purchase that I cannot stop admiring it and it still pleases me after having it for some time.

One can maybe find similar looking lamps but not at this price and quality. The shade interestingly came packed flat and so needed to be lined up at the join. That was not really an issue.
