Dropped by accident from knee height and dented whole way through cup and owalas warranty does not cover. We have multiples but this one is crap!

I bought the Owala FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle on March 29th, expecting better quality for that price, but it has been disappointing. First, the color started fading within just one week of use, and I only hand washed it. While the fading itself was annoying, the bigger issue is the lid button. The push button that’s supposed to automatically pop open the lid stopped working properly by the first week of May. Now I have to manually pry the lid open every time. I reached out to owala customer support, and their response was basically that the “lid is functioning as intended.” Honestly, for $35, that’s unacceptable. A premium-priced water bottle should last longer than a month without functional issues. At this point, I’d rather buy a cheaper bottle that actually works reliably instead of paying extra just for aesthetics and branding.

I love the look of the water bottle it’s beautiful (I got the gold for Christmas) but it doesn’t fit in my cup holder and bangs around a lot in the car, love the capacity though and keeps water cold but now my husband dropped it and now it bent on the bottom so sad :(
