  • A: Hello, Our bed frames fit standard size mattresses so a twin would be 38.5 inches by 75 inches and the full would be 53.5 inches by 75 inches.

Q: Can the bunk beds be separated to be one twin and one full bed?

  • A: Hello, Yes these beds can be separated, however, you can not swap the bed ends around to give you a high headboard and low footboard as they are different sizes. Therefore, the headboard and footboard will remain the same height as they are stacked up.

    Defective. Scam.

    Do not buy this bunk bed. The Max & Lily bunk bed I received was in terrible condition—at least 15 separate pieces were damaged straight out of the box with scratches, dents, and visible defects. On top of that, parts were missing, making assembly impossible without contacting support or gathering the necessary materials on our own. Not to mention the directions were virtually useless. Customer service was just as bad as the product. Max & Lily did nothing to help. Target said their hands were tied and offered no discount or real solution. The only option I was given was to order a completely new bunk bed, take the parts I needed, and haul the damaged one back to the store myself. That’s a massive, heavy item and completely unreasonable to expect from a customer. This is poor quality control and even worse customer support. Save yourself the headache and buy something else.

Fast growth wood with only slightly better structural integrity than pressboard equivalents. …. but alas, real wood. Instructions were clear, assembly straightforward. Shipping was an issue for me, but they took care of all the damaged pieces. I took pictures before I opened the box, and they did indeed ask for those as proof of damage.
